Cafe + Bookshop/Library = Perfect Light Brekkie or Afternoon Coffee. The staff were nice and the vibe is immaculate. They also occasionally hold concerts and live music. 10/10 would recommend.

An amazing bookshop with an adventurous community feel. Enjoy a coffee, browse through the well-organized books, or just wander through and see what adventures and displays catch your eye. One of the best bookshops I’ve been into.

The coffee is very nice, and they also have an option for oat milk if you like it. The cakes are delicious too. So order a coffee & cake, grab a seat at a table in one of the many book nooks, and savour the moment surrounded by literature!

Is there anything Boobooks doesn’t offer? What an incredible place! More books (first and secondhand) than one can ever read in a lifetime, locally produced coffee and tea, then a wine bar to top it all off - with locally produced wines and beers! I’m in awe and love coming here.

We had my mum's book launch at Boobooks today hosted by the lovely owner Yvonne,
and Aboriginal elder Steve Widders.i found Boobooks delightful...a mix of new and secondhand books in a very homelike place with little nooks where there are a couple of chairs and small table scattered amongst the shelves. ..lovely cafe and cakes...I was busy today but if I lived in Armidale I would frequent it regularly. Yvonne has a wonderful sense of community and wisdom and seems to have all sorts of delightful things happening there all the time!

Fantastic range of books, the Ancient History section is especially excellent. The whole store has a really nice vibe and the staff are great. A dangerous place to visit for book lovers and students!

We walked past Boobooks on a Saturday evening and was delighted to see it open on Sunday in cooperation with the monthly Armidale markets on the mall. We popped in and myself and my avid reading daughter both found a book to buy. We added this purchase with coffee and hot chocolates which we all enjoyed. I had a lovely chat with the staff who know their books and gave some great recommendations on true crime stories which I can never pass up! I highly recommend popping your head in and having a browse of this gorgeous book store. *picture was taken through the window in the evening. Much brighter and enticing when open.

A rare gem in this little town and perhaps anywhere else! Extensive collections of books, relaxing and interesting setup for great coffee and cake! Feel like enjoying coffee in a museum where we can actually touch the displayed items.

Boobooks has been essential for second hand books since it was established in Faulkner Street about 20 years ago. Under its present owner it has grown to be a cultural and intellectual landmark in Armidale's Beardy Street Mall. I have to call in regularly.
