Just an awesome stay for a special event or romantic getaway. The views are just spectacular from the lounge, decking or hot tub.

I booked Bonza View BnB whilst sitting in an expensive hotel room in the city. I have been struggling mentally & just wanted somewhere special. The city was not for me. |As i booked, I requested an earlier check in time which with speedy response, i recieved. Finding it was a tad tricky, but so are all hidden gems. It was down the end of a narrow road (like most roads in the Dandenongs). My husband & I entered our room (#1) & to our surprise, it was breathtaking. Bright happy rooms with an incredible view, & serene music playing. We ran around like children excited to see what the place had to offer. Kitchen was nice with microwave and stove top, plunger coffee was supplied - Heck yes!!! & then we looked in the fridge and to our surprise, the owners really understand the meaning of breakfast included! We were stoked! Fresh bacon, eggs, bread, butter, milk and more! But wait!! There were Tim Tams!!!! TIM TAMS!!!!! Coffee & Tim tams slammers with a view! I actually felt spoilt! I look at my husband, & i haven't seen him smile like that in a little while! The amenities were easy to use, clear instructions for spa - which was pre heated!! The room was older fashioned with a cozy & warm feel. Lunch was a very short walk to a magnificent cafe on the corner. We ordered a pizza for dinner from one of the brochures the owners had left out which was very helpful. Late at night, we finally had a spa, & we were very happy with the hot temperature & with how quiet the jets were! We could enjoy the quiet intimate setting without feeling like noisy neighbours! We then relaxed on the comfy lounge & watched some tv. We really enjoyed all of the little things! The bed was comfortable, the hand soap & body wash was lovely, there was a drop toilet that was incredibly clean & had no offensive smells (unlike the unclean city toilet that splashes back lol). We had an incredible time & felt happier than ever. We found our little haven & we will be back. Thank you so much!

I have been here 3 times now. A Great place with all the basics you need. The view is spectacular, you can literally just stare at it all day and night... From the hot tub on the balcony or inside from the big windows. Such a romantic / relaxing place to stay!

We selected this as a destination for our wedding anniversary as we wanted views of Melbourne and this place seemed to fit the bill.||After making contact via email, we confirmed booking over the phone with a gentleman whose communication skills were not great, but he was friendly enough. We tried to confirm our booking via email but received no additional reply.||You arrive at your destination via a gravel, single lane road and park at the end of it. While unassuming from the road, inside, the place is clean and well appointed.||We had apartment 2 that included two bedrooms, both with a double bed and overhanging mosquito net. Some nice, large lounges, a small dining table and chairs, an aged 'soft' hot tub on the balcony with a small cafe table and two plastic outdoor chairs. The bathroom was a good size with polished pebbles underfoot, a sink that functioned well but had been poorly repaired (was on an angle) and an interesting toilet. The toilet was interesting as it did not flush! It was a proper toilet seat, but all the waste was directed to a pit and composting system below the building. It was an eco-friendly toilet solution - just make sure you keep the seat closed!||Within 30min of our arrival, we had cockatoos on our balcony (bird seed provided) and a wallaby was visible from the balcony at the base of the building as well.||The kitchen was well appointed, and the fridge was stocked with eggs, bacon, butter, marmalade, full cream UHT milk, orange juice tetra packs, frozen multi grain bread, and a king-size packet of tim-tams. In the pantry was a small selection of breakfast cereal packs and tins of baked beans and spaghetti. There were a choice of instant or plunger coffee, and a good range of teas to choose from and milo.||Foxtel was on offer via a decent-size TV, but we were here for the views. Thankfully we enjoyed amazingly good weather that resulted in amazing clear views of Melbourne. The bed was comfortable and we really did enjoy our stay.||While nothing about this place is 'new', and perhaps a little TLC could be done around the place to update it a little, there was nothing wrong or caused us any issue. We would definitely come back, especially for the views.

Spent out anniversary here last year and can't wait to go back for our anniversary this year. Overall very pleased, room was clean, bed comfortable, views to die for and spa was a great way to finish our night. Love seeing this property perched on the side of the hill when you look towards the mountains and makes us excited for further stays in the future

The view is unbelievable and truly the best selling point, but the place is in dire need of renovations. Overall cleanliness could also definitely be improved. Hot tub was not secluded at all. A simple screen on the side would've allowed for much more comfortable enjoyment of it.
It's worth staying here at least once just for the view, but for the amount of money spent, we expected it to be in better condition

Unbeatable views and nice clean accomodation with a self serve breakfast option. |Accomodation itself was clean and spacious yet quite basic - but the views and balcony makes up for it.|An update to queen size bedding and a fresh coat of paint would do wonders for this little gem. Would return again. Very romantic and quiet location. Took advantage of free limo to sky high restaurant which was a nice touch. Staff were also very friendly.
