You can do this on reverse. Just plan ahead with the logistics like the parking and the public transport as well as when you intend to eat.

The Coogee to Bondi coastal walk is an absolute gem that captures the beauty of Sydney in every step. Stretching over 6 kilometers, this walk offers stunning ocean views, picturesque beaches, and a great mix of nature and city vibes. I loved how every turn revealed something new, from cliffside vistas to hidden rock pools. There are plenty of spots to stop, relax, and soak it all in. The walk is well-maintained, and it’s a great mix of easy paths with some stairs, so you get a bit of a workout without feeling exhausted.

One of the highlights for me was the sense of peace and openness that comes from being right by the water, hearing the waves, and catching the fresh breeze. Even though it can get busy, especially on weekends, it never feels overcrowded. Plus, the mix of locals and tourists adds to the energy without taking away from the experience.

Whether you’re looking to exercise, take photos, or just unwind, this walk offers something for everyone. Definitely a must-do in Sydney!

A very pleasant walk though can be very busy at times with dogs, kids and people glued to phones with no idea of where they are in time or space - so stay vigilant. There a many stairs and around 300m of elevation there and back. There are some fabulous children’s playgrounds and family picnic areas along the way. Magnificent coastal vistas❣️ Quite a few drink fountains and dog water spots too. There are plenty of cafes at the main beach areas along the way. Well worth the walk. Early mornings and late afternoons are best for photographers.

The Bondi to Coogee Walk is absolutely stunning, and I love it more each time I visit. No matter the season, the views are always breathtaking, with something new to appreciate every time. I especially enjoy coming here in the morning to catch the sunrise—it’s a magical experience. If you visit in the late afternoon, you’re treated to an amazing sunset as well. This walk is a must-do for anyone in Sydney!

Love this walk, and this was my 3rd time. The views are spectacular. Many restrooms (toilets) and areas along the way to rest. A few rock pools to take a dip. Paths are clearly marked and easy to navigate. While it is mostly flat, there are steps along the way, especially as you move through from beach to beach. I like that there are water fountains to refill water bottles. The paths are clean. Don't rush the walk. Soak it all in and stop along the way to enjoy the scenery.

One of the best things you can do in Sydney. The entire trail is paved and not difficult to walk. Water available at many places along the trail. Sit between the walks and enjoy your views. Can easily spend half a day here.

Of the many miles of coastal paths in the area, Coogee to Bondi (via Tamarama, Bronte and Clovelly Beaches) is my favourite.
Beautiful views out over the wild Pacific, really quiet and peaceful in places. Lots of places, not too far off the track, to stop for a bite to eat or a drink.
A must do when in the area!
