My mother yesterday was treated so rudely by a male manager that I wouldn't put my worst enemy here!
He got up and walked out of the conference. He should be reported to HCCC. Sad that people can be so cruel to people who have paid their taxes.

Allity looked after my dad for about a year and my mum for about 7 years. The facilities are spotless and well looked after and activities were good. Care, reception, and nursing staff are great.

The only real failing was attention to detail with communications and care plans. Getting emails and texts from Allity to the right person in the family was a bit of a challenge, particularly if from agency staff out of hours. The care plan we saw was internally inconsistent: which makes it hard for night staff.

My first steps at Allity Walkerville made me feel at home and loved. The facility is fully equipped, spacious and tidy. The staff is friendly and experienced, taking care of the residents thoughtfully. This is really an ideal place for your loved ones!

My great aunt was a resident at Walkerville and passed away this year. Our family will be forever grateful for the care and support given. The team led by Simon with Jason, Shontell and the front staff team are stellar along with the nursing staff and carers. My aunt loved the food and all the lifestyle activities and was kept really active and social for her time there. Walkerville is a very caring home that delivers their best.

We would like to say thank you to all the staff who cared for our mother at Walkerville. It is a difficult time we face when a parent transitions from their family home to aged care. Covid added another layer to the challenge. To the Staff, from the gorgeous girls at reception, the nurses, every day carers & the lady in the coffee shop, we thank you for your lovely smiles, helpfulness & most importantly the kindness and care given.
And of course theres Simon, the leader of the pack. You were wonderful, and we thank you.

Not a very good aged care centre there are many that are far better.
Meals are not cooked on site as they do not have a cook there food is bought in from an outside facility then reheated.
As with all aged care centres consider very carefully before choosing to go into one as they are mostly all about huge profits and not much about care.
Food and care budgets are very small and it is very unlikely you will get the care expected and the types of meals you would expect or want.

My dad has been residing here for the last 4 months, as he has been diagnosed with dementia. I live interstate and was able to visit him 2 weeks ago. I was relieved to see he was in a lovely room with views overlooking the Torrens river. We were able to put up lots of pictures and familar furniture for him. The staff were obliging and Simon, bibhuita, shontell and Caroline (on the front desk) were awesome. His room was spotlessy clean and his meals looked lovely. My dad’s not happy being in a home, but I for my peace of mind I know he’s secure, safe and well taken care of between visits

Nice biulding which is new. Care on occasion has been secondary to cost. Services have reduced from originally experienced. They will never put service levels in writing as you will see from the brochure. There are good people working here but the staffing levels are the minimum they can get away with. Carers provide medication and not medically trained staff though medical staff put the medication together_ a recipe for disaster. On occassion due to illness staffing levels are not maintained and services suffer
