Based on the information I've gathered, a lady had maggots on her legs. Sad story really. A unqualified PC (not Nurse-not allowed), was attending wound cares there. She did all of this under the table, to please some a shady EN (Not RN). They both left so it wouldn't fall on them. After quitting, they tried to blame their sins on other innocent Nurses and played victims instead. But how long will they run from their Karma or manipulate the truth? Justice will find them x100 times. Amen!

The poor resident that was neglected and left with maggots in/on her wounds is absolutely disgraceful. And the poor thing passed away due to the neglect! 🤬😔 also plenty of ex staff members telling people not to take your loved ones there , that says ALOT. absolutely disgusting and no excuse for that poor lady to have passed away like that. No excuse at all.

From what I've heard from ex-staff, this place is filled with racist staff and general mindset fuelled with plain hate towards coloured staff, with no remorse. Recurrent complaints go ignored with higher management that empowers such behaviour by shoving racist acts under the carpet. Shame that such vile be acts still continue in this age and time!

Thank you to all staff at Topaz Unit and Manager John, for the beautiful care provided to my Dad and I during his 3 months at Pilgrim.
Without your support and care, due to a very difficult family, you allowed myself and my dog to visit dad anytime, allowed me to continue caring for my dad. This meant the world to me ❤️You allowed me to sleep with my dad overnight for a week at a time when he was low, but this allowed my dad to feel loved, comforted and safe at his lowest with his health at all times ❤️Dad was very, very special to me and words cannot explain the gratitude I have for my last days with my dad, to which the nursing home allowed ❤️I have very special moments, I have been able to re-watch since his passing in July 2024. Without being with my dad overnight, the beautiful memories would not have been possible.💕Thankyou to the kitchen staff and John for the meals provided to me whilst I stayed with dad. I was able to interact with other patients to which I adored. Thank you for accomodating my dad in a safe environment.
I will be forever greatful for the care you gave my dad under the circumstances.

Came to visit my Aunty. Man at the front desk barely acknowledged us, while on a very obvious personal phone call, speaking in a foreign language. I had to grab the covid tests for myself and my partner. Got to my Aunty's room, and found out from HER that she has COVID. Absolute INCOMPETENT staff, didn't warn us of any Covid outbreaks. If we end up with Covid, we are going to sue. Get your shit together!!!

This is where my wife is now. The staff are fantastic and feel she is looked after very well. I sometimes buy cake or biscuits or even premium ice for the residents and staff as a thank you for looking my wife. Some residents do a lot for my wife and we have become friends.

We owe so much to the special staff who gave our Brian loads of love, wonderful care and respect each and every day. Just saying thank you does not seem to be enough but we will forever be grateful to the wonderful staff under the leadership of John at Topaz and Pilgrim Nursing Home.

Disgraceful. An elderly woman has passed away due to your neglect. Maggot were crawling from her wound! I just cannot begin to understand how it has led to such an unfortunate outcome. May she rest in peace.
