My husband and I had our 3 children ages 8, 10, & 14 and had such a great experience with the whole crew from start to finish! We saw 3 different types of turtles and a ray and many fish. We were lucky to have good visibility on our snorkel. Definitely recommend taking plenty of Dramamine an hour before the experience so it has time to work. We got a little nauseated towards the end with the swells but to be expected. Overall an amazing experience we will never forget! Thanks!

Honestly... Amazing. We booked the Julian Rocks tour for 10am and it was incredible.

Both our guides were super helpful, gave lots of information about the area we snorkelled.

We were given a lot of freedom to swim around ourselves (still as part of the group) but meant if we saw a turtle or shark we could stick with it!

We saw so much sea life including turtles, leopard sharks, fish, corals. We did get stung quite a lot by tiny jellyfish... It was completely fine as Josh our quite told us before we got into he water. If you don't fancy the stings maybe wear a wetsuit (they do have some available).

If we had more time we'd book and do the exact same tour again.

truly an amazing experience! we saw a manta ray, a few turtles, and almost 30 sharks! the boat ride was quite choppy, but i am quite prone to sea sickness, and its just the price to pay for such an amazing trip!! highly recommend!!

We had an amazing experience with wild nature. The team were very friendly and experienced. They put us at ease and explained what would happen. The boat and equipment were of a high standard. We saw many turtles and lots of other marine life. It was a great experience which we will remember for a long time to come. Excellent value and we loved the conservation aspect to the trip. The staff were very professional and we felt safe in their hands. Thank you

We booked this trip through their website. And even though I made a mistake, the crew was very generous and helpful to accommodate us on the trip. The snorkeling is fantastic! Some may find it challenging with the potentially big waves but we were in good hands. I don't remember the crews names but they were not all called Bob!

Equipment (mouth part) was broken and there was no replacement at the boat. Water entered into the mouth all the time. The snorkelling area is okay, a bit small and too many people moving around at the same time. You can spot leopard sharks, turtles and rays!!

Magical experience, dived a few times before but saw more on this snorkeltour than on any of my dives😍. Great organization and a super nice trip. Shipper and the snorkel leader Wil were very chill, super knowledgable and friendly! There were some freedivers on my trip that were willing to share their videos with me which was amazing. Tip from me: do take a pill for sea sickness because its a wavy ride. I am always sea sick but the tablet saved me! (If you’re coming from Byron Bay and do not have a car, consider your transportation options, I took an uber to Brunswick and the way back I got a lift which was great but it is not easy to reach with public transport)

Blue Seafaris Snorkeling and Freediving at Julian Rocks is absolutely incredible! The skippers are highly experienced and prioritize safety above all. The guides are exceptionally knowledgeable about the local wildlife and marine fauna, adding an educational and enriching layer to the adventure. Every outing is filled with breathtaking encounters and unforgettable experiences. Summer is filled with Leopard sharks during the summer months and there are heaps at the rock already. I’m already planning to head out with them as often as possible – they’re simply the best! Highly recommend!
