Nice location close to all the blue mountains has to offer. Very affordable prices and satisfactory facilities. Room was neat but could do with a few minor adjustments in heating. Friendly staff and the food we had at the restaurant was like a home cooked meal and suprisingly good. They had a free karaoke event with an Elvis impersonator and live band which was also great entertainment.

Really low quality place, run down, dirty, no wifi, couldn’t sleep due to bright external lights. Any problem was met with odd stories of people hacking their wifi or the owners were too busy with court appearances. Was told fire alarms kept activating due to “cobweb build-up”.

Great quiet place to stay, hospitality was 5 Star, as Kevin and his wife were very flexible with breakfast orders with food intolerancesfor myself and our son, very generous helpings and no additional costs to pay for as we had prepaid everything back in March before Covid strangled our holiday for Easter. Wentworth Falls very central to Katoomba only 10min drive too.

There is a major breach of law here as Service dogs cannot be refused By Law Public Access
Rights of Assistance Dogs as described by the Commonwealth Disability Discrimination Act 1992
Public Access means under the Federal (Commonwealth) Act, which, we now know supercedes any and all Australian state legislation, handler(s) and their dog (provided they meet the required training standards stipulated under the Act) have access rights to public places. These include restaurants and shops, public passenger vehicles (such as trains or taxis used to transport members of the public), healthcare facilities (with the exception of where infection control becomes a source of concern) and places of accommodation (such as hotels and campgrounds). It is unlawful under this Act to discriminate by refusing entry or access to a public place because a person relies on a guide, hearing or assistance dog. Assistance Dogs must accompany their handler at all times. They are not to be requested to be removed from their handler and it is deemed illegal to make such a request. The Human Rights Commission urges consumers who faces such discrimination to make a complaint and these will be dealt with accordingly. Strict fines do apply and businesses should be aware of their legal obligations.

I do beleive this is not the only breach at this motel

Has everything you could need.
Pub Restaurant And a very large Function Room with a bar and A Restaurant and Games.Room are very large.Very Close to Katoomba.Cant wait to we return.
Very nice family run Business.
