Sieberi Escape. Amazing! Luxury. The house with the best view in my 60 years staying in the Upper Mountains. 4 full bathrooms! 1.3 km walk from KCC. 450 m from Cahills Lookout AND Narrowwneck Lookouts - the BEST 2 mountains sunset view spots. C.1.5 km from Scenic world. Mega kitchen. Lovely beds. Views from all bedrooms - epic views of My Solitary, Narrowbeck and Upper Jamieson valley from front 2 and their verandas AND kitchen & all living area. BME and Geoff gave great and responsive service. Booking direct gives the longest time for payment.

Easy to use website, easy booking process, fast communication with Blue Mountains Getaways with very clear instructions on everything we need for our weekend. The accommodation in Wentworth Falls was perfect with stunning views. I'd happy recommend these guys for booking accommodation in the Blue Mountains anytime!

We recently booked a holiday rental (Berdea) which was lovely, but we found the communication from Blue Mountains Getaways was unfriendly and unhelpful.

1. The week before our booking we asked if it would be possible for the heating to be turned on prior to our arrival on a cold rainy day. We were travelling with my elderly mother. The response was a curt "no". Other rentals have kindly done this for us with no trouble.
2. We arrived in the cold and rain to discover that our accomodation had no power. No lights, heating and almost dark. We contacted Blue Mountains Getaways and were told there was an area blackout and there was nothing they could do about it - no concern or offer any help. We asked if there were any candles or matches? The answer was no, and that this would be a fire hazard, but - "there's a Woolworths up the road" if we were desperate. This seemed quite unfriendly and unwelcoming. We understand the agent cannot fix the power cut but there was no apology or concern for our situation, or suggestion of a warm place we could go for that night. We did wonder if we'd have to leave and go home given my elderly mother was quite cold and we had no heating. The power eventualy came on later that night, but there was no follow up from Blue Mountains Getaways to check we were ok.
3. We had also requested a late checkout if available. The reply was an unapologetic "no".

We were quite happy with the house and the owner should note that, but this agent fell short of customer expectations. It was the manner of communication and lack of ability to engage with our situation which was the main issue. Even if requests cannot be met, there are ways of communicating more helpfully. We have dealt with many agents before when booking accomodation in the Blue Mountains. Most have been delightful. We are unlikely to book via Blue Mountains Getaways again.

I have always found Geoff from Blue Mountains Getaways to be very helpful and knowledgable of the local area.With lots of properties to choose from,The Blue Mountains Getaways website is the place to book your holidays.The property calendars are always updated and will also calculate prices.
The site is easy to navigate and if you are unsure of anything ,Jane is there to guide you through or give Geoff a ring for personal attention.
Overall a great site to check out all of your holiday needs.Highly recommended to all holiday makers out there.

We recently stayed at the Sunrise House property in Hazelbrook. It was the perfect place for a weekend getaway for two families.
The warm house is cosy & has everything you need, the kitchen is particularly well equipped and a lovely place to hang out on a chilly morn. The room sizes are generous & the downstairs bath was wonderful for a long soak. The highlight of the property is the deck, we enjoyed most of our meals out there simply just hanging out & gazing at the gorgeous view. Our kids loved exploring the terraced back yard. The house is well located for lots of bush walks and a great place to enjoy a Blue Mountains Getaway.

I have been travelling to and staying in the Blue Mountains for many years and have found Blue Mountains Getaways to be the most helpful of any booking agency I have used. The manager has always been prompt with replies to any queries and has always offered correct information. One cannot ask for more.

The Berda accommodation lacked heating in the bedrooms, except the master. This is a major problem for cold mountain climate and caused several of us to become quite ill with severe colds.
Contacted Geoff to let him know of this issue, as well as lack of hot water pressure for the showers and dirty towels. All that we got back was he was surprised and would let the owner know.

Update - there were clear instructions to NOT TOUCH THE ZONES setting for the A/C, so the response from the owner is pathetic, as it should have been setup correctly prior to our arrival.
This doesn't excuse the lack of hot water pressure in the showers or the dirty linen.
Stay away from this place and service.
