We had the most incredible experience on our Blue Adventures Rainforest and Wildlife Tour and will be raving about it to our friends back in the UK. Our guide Mark Fraenkel was very knowledgable and thoroughly engaging. My kids also found him highly entertaining and loved his jokes and quizzes ? . We feel so fortunate to have seen so many wonderful endangered species from the Mareeba Rock Wallabies to the Duck-billed Platypuses (felt like they made a special appearance for us!).The highlight for my boys (age 8 and 11) was also getting the chance to hold a jungle python and to zoom around on the golf buggies looking at all the Eastern Grey Kangaroos.
I still have images of the very special curtain fig tree in my mind, I don’t think I will ever see a tree as amazing as that. We also loved the restaurant that Mark brought us to -the Teahouse at Lake Barrine. All in all an unforgettable experience from start to finish. Thank you Mark ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was hands-down one of the best tours we did while in Port Douglas! Mark really knew his way around the area and took us to local spots for viewing wildlife. We were really lucky to see four different species of Kangaroo and Wallabies (including tree kangaroos!) and even saw the platypus! Highly recommended for animal lovers who enjoy spotting wildlife at their own pace!

We had a phenomenal day with Mark on our wildlife tour! This tour was part of our honeymoon trip to Australia, and the highlight for us was getting to experience all the wildlife! Since it's wildlife, you never know what you're going to see, and that was part of the fun! We ended up seeing quite a few species (kangaroos, wallabies, birds, pythons, turtles, and many more!), and Mark took great photos of everything, including us with the animals! He had a great day planned, and taught us lots of facts about all the animals we saw, and others in Australia. Mark was such a fun guide, and had great connections so we could see the best wildlife! We also got to stop for lunch at an incredible cafe, and boat cruise around the lake where the cafe was to see more animals and reptiles. The lunch was great food too, so happy for the fun spot! The best part was getting to see wild kangaroos on a golf course! Thank you Mark for the great experience!

Outstanding day tour of Australia's abundant wildlife. While you might see some of this on your own, seeing it all in one day is a real treat. Kangaroos and wallabies, birds and bats, turtles and eels and the elusive duck-billed platypus are what you will encounter so bring your binoculars if you have some!

Great day viewing Australian wildlife! Our driver Chrissy was wonderful and great with our 2 young children. We saw everything we wanted and even managed to see 2 elusive platypuses mating! The stop at the crater lake for lunch was lovely and the food delicious. Highly recommend the tour for something a bit different than a large tour bus or the zoo.
The only bummer was that the tour company camera was not working we didn’t get the professional tour pics that was in the tour description. But our guide helped take family photos on our phone.

Would highly recommend this tour and guide. Really lovely day seeing rare and classic Australia animals without crowds or cages (kangaroos, 2 different types, Wallabies, platypus). Mark, our personal guide, was very knowledgeable, took us to the best off-the-beaten path spots for flora and fauna viewing, and took amazing pictures. Had great stop at a crater lake for lunch. This day will make an epic memory of Australia.

Mark was incredible. We saw tree kangaroos, possums, turtles, wallabys, eastern grey kangaroos and many more. We also took in the biggest fig tree imaginable. Mark generously took great photos for our family album. Would hands down recommend them for any of your family adventures. Thank you Blue Adventures.
