Very nice mine tour that is appropriate for all ages. We brought a 4 year old and near the end of the tour it was hard to keep him focused and not trying to touch everything, but he made it the full hour tour, but it is hard to keep their attention that long. It was a very informative tour and the tour guide was great. Definitely book tickets in advance as they do sell out.

I wasn't aware of the Blinman Copper Mine or the tour before our trip, but it was one of the most rewarding parts of our Flinders Rangers trip.
The history of the mine was fascinating - we both loved the tour, presentation, and the ability to wander around the area at our leisure afterwards.
Make this a "must do" part if your Flinders Trip.

Julian, the guide, was very enthusiastic about the mine and area giving a great run down of just what went on here over 120 years ago.
After a sign in at the information centre it was off the mine about 1km away. Just past the chimneys.
The mine itself feels very safe where we can visit but other parts look very scary😳
There’s a number of tools that have been found along with other items miners used.
So much to learn about the area, the smartest guy was the guy that registered the initial claim and never dug anything himself!

My partner and I extremely enjoyed this tour, time was taken to tell us about the history of the mine and also town in a very detailed but not boring way. I would highly recommend doing this tour if you visit. If i returned i honestly would probably do it again.

Highly recommend this tour great hour spent down the mine looking at all the different areas and hearing all the stories. Great even for younger kids and older people as it's quite an easy going tour on the ear and body. So much good info and the tour guides are fantastic people. If you are looking for somewhere to stay see Mike one of the tour guides.

Absolutely an amazing place to visit. It was a highlight of our trip and it was so special that the people of Blinman town set the whole tour up and made it happen. We loved the experience they created. Definitely worth visiting. Thank you Susan for being a wonderful guide!

A wonderful addition to our trip that we stumbled upon by accident. Rang up that morning and were able to book one of the tours for a few hours later. An interesting and informative tour about not only the mine but a truly dedicated township who run the whole business and even rebuilt sections of the mine to make it safe for tours. Definitely worth a visit to support a special town.
