Beautiful spot! Nice and quiet and there’s a little creek that runs through the middle of the camp ground. 2wd cars can enter! No showers or power but there are pit toilets.

Nice free camping spot, very full! Even in the offseason. No flushing toilets, few benches, no water. Very friendly foxes coming out at evening/night, looking for food. Not scared at all, the came within a few centimeters of distance. But don't let them fool you! They look very cute but they steal your shoes at night so don't leave them outside. I lost a pair of Birkenstocks and woke up to 4 other campers searching the bushes for shoes. I also wouldn't leave any food outside.

1⃣️ Great free camping ground surrounded by beautiful bushes, good to explore around. Well-built fire pit is handy. Need to bring your own drinking water, no flush toilets, facilities got some small spiders inside and sink has no running water - needs better maintenance.
2⃣️ Limited spaces (8-10) compared to other site near near blue mountain. Arrived on Saturday morning but most of the places next to river has been taken. Over the night many mini vans came and got quite packed. Group of people played loud music until late midnight which was quite annoying… If it’s quite, you can hear the water sound and sleep 👍🏻

If you love being blocked in & surrounded by loud inconsiderate tourists treating it like an outdoor rave by all means this is the place for you. If your wanting a quiet getaway in the bush better off parking on the side of the road. This place sucks, stayed one night & got a knock on our camper door at 8pm to ask us what time we would be leaving in the morning because they were blocking us in so we couldn't get out or open our car door. Planned to stay a second night but ended up leaving & camping by the side of the road instead because the other people there were so loud & inconsiderate of other people. 0/10 wouldn't recommend.

Toilets weren’t working so they had temporary ones. The place isn’t very big and was pretty packed, we arrived at 5:45pm. There’s foxes appearing after sunset. Pretty cold and no sun hitting except mid day. There’s plenty of green for tents. Free and with picnic tables! Really good.

Great little free camp in the valley beneath blackheath town. Fire pits, toilets, fresh water, trees and plenty adventures within 2-5km. Perfect lil getaway for a 1-3 night stay.

A few good tracks for walking and viewing nature, particularly birds.

10min drive down the hill from town so all essentials are close by.

A creek runs through and around the camp which I thought was super relaxing apart from the need to go for a wee more often than usual 🙂

Wasn't that busy when we stopped in 2 weeks ago but I think there's a semi permanent camper with some continuous beat music going at night. It was a Saturday but gotta respect other campers.
