Amazing free grass campsite in the back! Very friendly pub staff and the best food! Would recommend to everyone. Menu (April 24) attached cause I couldn't find it somewhere else. Thanks to the owners for this gem?

Bought 2 glasses of wine and had dinner on Sunday night. The locals were in fine form with a bit of colourful dialect. Friendly country pub. Meal was huge and atmosphere was what I expected . As a solo female traveller it was a good place to eat.

Evening special of lamb shanks...took over 1 hour to arrive, pub not busy. Shanks still frozen in the middle, swimming in a bowl of gravy on an island of mash. Too tired to worry about saying anything
