Absolutely loved this little nursery & cafe, hidden way in the backstreets of Smythesdale. It's a native plant nursery with plenty to choose from. The plants are very healthy looking & well priced. Ron the owner is very friendly & knowledgeable & his lovely wife runs the little cafe. The food is made fresh on the premises & if it's not the best pavlova or scones you've ever had I'd be surprised! Check out my photo of today's pav! There's lots of places to sit in the beautiful garden & enjoy your delicious food, or you can just check out the plants & say hello to the chatterbox cockatoo or the cute little donkeys. If you're a bird lover, just sit back & listen to the chorus! Well worth a visit. 👌

Local small business nursery with a food and drink van, a cheeky cockatoo and some cute donkeys. Owners make and sell their own delicious food and drink, the few times I've been there the food is always delicious. There's plenty of seating around the nursery outside and inside. The view from the nursery is lovely and the property is well designed and very beautiful. There are a variety of plants that are also sold here for reasonable prices, I come here for the variety of native 'Bush Tucker' plants that can't be found at larger retail stores like Bunnings.

Lovely nursery with cafe. Very kind owners, very lovely new cafe worker today who served us. She was so polite & good natured, disability friendly environment with a talkative cockatoo, miniature donkeys, gorgeous gardens where you can sit under giant flowering trees for a coffee. Love this place. I like how the owners have at times employed people with disabilities, believing in giving people a fair go.

Wonderful spot to sit, relax and have morning tea or lunch. The donkeys are so cute and don't forget to chat to the cockatoo. The owners Ron and Kaz are friendly and extremely helpful. Ron answered all our questions about what native to plant where and why one we had had died. No question was too much, very patient and helpful.

Great little nursery, with a good range of native plants. Nice spot for a lite lunch or coffee in the garden.

A hidden gem that seems to be more busy each time I've visited.

Apart from the nursery, they also have good food and the staff are friendly.

Watch out for the wildlife.

Also seems to be a good place for dogs to visit with their owners.

If you do stop to eat, allow extra time; because everything is prepared fresh, the service can be a little slow. But while you wait, enjoy the peaceful, relaxing setting.

It's a great spot. Just don't tell everyone. 😉

We visited today when it was pouring down but sat by the fire and had a lovely pot of tea and cake. Lovely man that looked after my friend & I. The sun eventually came out so we were able to say hi to the miniature donkeys (so cute) and the cocky was a fabulous!
Can’t wait to go back on a sunny day, sit outdoors and take it all in.
