We stayed in the 3 bedroom spa house. It was very comfortable, clean and in a great location. We were able to relax for a couple of days and explore the area. The cottage is within easy walking distance to the centre of town, where you can grab a meal. I would highly recommend this accommodation for a relaxing few days.

We had an amazing stay at Birds'n 'Blooms cottages. The views in the lush settings were just wonderful. The quite country setting was only interrupted by a large variety birdlife. A real treat. ||The property was spotless and you can tell that there has been a great detail of attention to detail to ensure everything we needed was at our fingertips. I highly recommend.

This was a slice of paradise. My husband had been away for 7 weeks and we wanted to get away, disconnect and wind down. We have three children and we all fit in the 2 bedroom cottage. The indoor and outdoor space were perfect for connecting as a family, we loved sitting on the deck and looking at the beautiful view. We also loved the spa! We will happily and eagerly return.

Stayed three nights in 3 bedroom cottage, absolute delight, could not fault anything, was our little luxury stop on our road trip. So close to town and hosts were lovely right down to a short tex on our second day to see if we needed anything. Would highly recommend to anyone . Really thought about claiming squatters rights and never leaving. Thank you Gina for everything, hope to be back one day.

For our first trip to Australia since before Covid lockdowns, our group of two couples chose the Atherton Tablelands, staying at Birds 'n' Bloom Cottages. Our two-bedroom cottage was everything we hoped for - spacious, comfortable, in a quiet location, well-appointed, and spotless. ||||Yungaburra was a perfect base for our explorations across the Tablelands, no more than an hour's drive to a large variety of natural, historic and entertaining attractions. It has a completely different atmosphere from the surrounding towns. And Yungaburra itself provides a variety of excellent eating-places at the end of a busy day, all a short walk across the adjacent park from our cottage.|| ||Personal thanks to Gina and her team for their prompt and faultless assistance at all stages of our stay, especially the night we realised we'd locked our key inside while we were out.

We stayed 3 nights at Birds n' Bloom in the 3-bedroom cottage. It's very well appointed and spacious, close to the township centre and close to Paterson Creek where we were lucky enough to see the platypus twice! You can follow the sun and have breakfast on the eastern verandah and dinner on the western one. Everything was spotless. We made good use of all the facilities such as the slow-combustion heater, TV/Netflix, wifi, cooker, coffee machine etc. Thank you for the delicious biscuits, citrus and port! We were sorry to leave and would love to stay again next time we visit the Atherton Tablelands. ||Danielle

We stayed in the 3-bedroom spa cottage. Not relaxing and certainly didn't enjoy being under 24/7 surveillance during every moment you are outside as they have cameras mounted everywhere. Talk about big brother. When I brought this up to the owner, Gina, she said hotels have cameras, but we have stayed in a lot of hotels and have never seen cameras posted on every corner so every moment you are being recorded. We were told the keys to check in were under the mat. We arrived and they weren't. My husband had to drop me off to go grab our takeaway as we figured while we were waiting we could just drop off our luggage. I had to ring the owner and wait for her to come with the keys. Then we spent the first few hours of our stay with our own cleaning wipes, especially on the wardrobe bench and drawers which had all kinds of hair including pubic hair as well as the toilets which had debris under the seats, and then there was the yellow scum that came out of the tub jets. We thoroughly cleaned the tub and left it much better than we found it. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and we could not find a comfortable solution in any of the rooms as all of the beds seemed to have the same level of wear and tear. We ended up with neck and back pain and were exhausted the entire time. The various scented jars with the sticks they had around gave us a terrible headache, even when we put them under the sink to try to avoid the smell. We left the cottage neat and cleaner than we found it. We are not saying the whole place was filthy. Certainly, they do clean it and the majority was cleaned well, but there are things they have missed. Every day we had to vacuum outside the doors as the piles of dead bugs when we opened the doors were shocking. But as stated above, the worst part of all is we have never been so uncomfortable on holiday under 24/7 surveillance everywhere you were outside the cottage. Had we known about this, we would never have booked. We were on a three-week holiday and booked several places and clearly failed to read the information regarding the cameras at this place. My husband works in privacy and couldn't believe they would be allowed to record and monitor your guests like this They can claim it is for security, but we all know that isn't all it is for. Lastly, the construction across the street where they are building a new home was very loud and disruptive and they got to work very early. When we checked out they tacked on an additional $300 credit card charge stating the beds had all been used so they had to charge a higher occupancy fee. We responded with the details above and requested that they kindly reverse this additional charge they put on our credit card without authorisation, but they refused to do so and have tried to tell us that our assessments are dishonest. We told them all they need to do is check these things in their other cottages to confirm some things are being missed by their cleaning crew. And at this price point, you don't expect to have to come in and clean. If you decide to stay here, we suggest reading their terms and conditions closely, which sadly we did not. And even if we had, it was too late to find alternative accommodation. They emailed us a check-in link to fill out (also the only place out of the six we stayed that required this) and we were too busy with our adventures and had spotty mobile coverage when we received it and just filled it out without reading (as many people do when faced with lengthy paragraphs, if they are being honest). We will be contacting our credit card and the Office of Fair Trading about the additional charge they put through.

I visited the Birds 'n' Bloom Cottages with a couple of girlfriends for a little trip to the Tablelands and all I can say is WOW! What a gorgeous spot, so spacious, luxurious and extremely comfortable. I could not have been happier. I had a large bedroom with ensuite and our friends also enjoyed their rooms in the second and third bedrooms. The patio out the back overlooks gorgeous gardens with birds to greet you as you wake up. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook a delicious meal, or if you are not up for cooking the Yungaurra Pub is a short stroll across the park. The photos do not do this place justice!!
