We booked a 2 night stay on a caravan site at this Park and are so glad we did!! It was warm when we arrived to our lovely, level site backing onto the river and it is the first time we have encountered an air conditioned laundry which was much appreciated. Next morning the delight continued when we discovered the toilet and shower block was heated on what proved to be a chilly morning. The Park is very quiet and all the staff are top notch - thank you for a great stay 😊

Surge Pricing gone mad.|We have enjoyed our caravan stay in this park many times. We were going to enjoy the park again but we tried to book for 3 nights recently for a powered site The price was $470 and the owners need to wake up or loose our business going forward .

Beautiful park, lovely cabins, easily walk to the splash park and down the main street. The feel of the park is gorgeous, shady, green, trees and vines and fairly lights at night. Perfect. Staff are helpful and friendly. Love it.

We love it here!
A beautiful small park, quiet, gorgeous trees and along the river. it has great amenities, a fantastic sky deck lounge and well kept camp kitchen and is walking distance to town. Very pet friendly. Bev on reception is the best customer service person we have met. she actually rang us to see how far away we were and waited for us to check in when we arrived after closing and still took time to tell us about the park and town. it is one of the best parks we have stayed, without a doubt. There are some gorgeous looking cabins and not as many van sites. We have a MH and were given a great shady site on the river. Many caravaners were complaining about the high fees. $89 p/n but goes up to $129 for a powered sire on Fri & Sat. This is off season! Whilst we loved the park this a bit too high when most of us are self sufficient with showers and toilets. There are discounts for Big4 members. I hope they review pricing and look after caravaners. We are much less maintenance than a cabin and would love to come back for longer over summer. Many thanks to Bev, much appreciated!

Dog friendly camping site. The location is perfect, next to the splash park. Luxury cabins are also available here. The cafe van provides nice coffee and pastries.

Such a stunning caravan park, and perfectly located (just a short drive to the river and town). Nice townhouse with a view of mountain from the front balcony so we really enjoyed our stay. The bed was comfy, the kitchen was very functional.

We booked the” pet friendly HOTHAM cabin” which was not pet friendly at all as we couldn’t leave our furry buddy unattended in the cabin . We have stayed at other BIG4 pet friendly locations and all of them let us leave our pet when we needed to go out. We thought it’s the rule of all BIG4 locations but this time we had to take him everywhere and we couldn’t enjoy some of the things we planned as a family. We really wanted to go out and eat but it was always a cabin meal which was really disappointing.|Also, the rooms were really small, not enough cupboard space in the main bedroom as there were too many blankets stored in them and no cupboards in the children’s bedroom. We had to keep our bags on the floor and walked on them as there was no walking space in the rooms.|Bunk bed was really unsafe with the ladder in a very awkward position so my child had to climb on to the single bed to get to the top and in between beds the heater was located. We booked for this cabin paying for 3 adults and 1 child however, the living had a very small sofa which is tightly fitted with the dining table and a very small outdated kitchen. We stayed at the BIG4 Ballarat windmill park the weekend before which was unbelievably great with excellent customer service but this time staff didn’t look happy and unhelpful.|Location was pretty close to everything but no point as we couldn’t enjoy most of the activities as a family due to their NOT PET FRIENDLY POLICY.|Will not stay there again as no member benefits and facilities like the other BIG4 locations especially due to UNFRIENDLINESS
