An unforgettable 40th celebration – we didn’t want to leave!

We recently stayed at BIG4 Sandstone Point Holiday Resort to celebrate my 40th with a big group of family and friends — and WOW, what an experience! The park truly catered to everyone, from cabins to camping, with a range of price points that made it accessible for all. Every person in our group felt looked after, and several even joked they’d happily live there — it’s that good.

The facilities are second to none — clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed with something for every age and stage. Whether it was the kids splashing in the water park, adults relaxing by the pool, or the ease of shared spaces for group catch-ups, everything was seamless.

And let’s talk about the Friday night disco — I honestly don’t know who had more fun, the kids or the adults! The music, the energy, the vibe — it was the perfect way to kick off our weekend.

What really stood out, though, was the team behind the scenes. From the moment I enquired about a group booking, their communication was exceptional. They went above and beyond to ensure our whole group could stay close together, and nothing was ever too much trouble.

We recently stayed at Sandstone Point Holiday Resort in our caravan with our two young kids and extended family, and it was absolutely perfect. The resort was bustling, but it’s so well-designed that it never felt overcrowded—everything ran smoothly, and there was plenty of space for everyone.

The facilities were as good as they can get and had everything you could possibly need for a fun and relaxing family holiday. From the kids' splash areas to the playgrounds and easy access to nearby attractions, it was all spot on.

A special shoutout to Margi, the lovely lady working by the pool—she went above and beyond with her service and gave us so much helpful information about the local area. It made our stay even more enjoyable.

Highly recommend this place for families or larger groups. We’ll definitely be back!

Once again this year our stay at Sandstone Point was amazing. Michael and I can’t thank everyone enough for the service and hospitality we get when we stay.
Our villa is just gorgeous and never disappoints. We can’t speak highly enough about the quality and staff at sandstone. Everyone goes above and beyond to make our stay so fabulous and we thank you all so very much.

Second time staying at Sandstone Point Holiday Resort, we love it here! We stayed in one of the family safari tents last time, and this time in a garden side studio villa. Both options are great but we’ve really loved the villa. So close to the pools, well maintained and clean, and everything you need for a family holiday. The curtain to separate the lounge/bunk beds from the main bed is a game changer for us (having a 2.5yo who goes to bed earlier than us). Organise a click and collect from the local Woolies on your way in and then you honestly don’t need to leave at all! There’s also a great menu available, cafe open from 7am, and the pub is a 2min walk away. Also endless things for kids to do regardless of their age, we particularly love the jumping pillow, and the activities organised by the resort (animal farm, poolside DJ, movies). For us, the poolside bar and happy hour is *chefs kiss*!
We’ll be back again and again, it’s great value for what you get and works so well for family holidays.

We stayed in April 2025 with 2 adults, 13 year old and 11 year old. We all loved it and the holiday activities are the best we’ve ever experienced. There was a good balance between paid and free activities and the staff were all so lovely. The facilities are so clean and the park is looked after so well. The sites are large but not all are even, so make sure to bring leveling ramps. Besides that, we highly recommend staying here, well worth the trip!

Place was amazing. So much to do with all the activities on everyday for the kids. Weather was great for us. And as a single father with my children I was still able to enjoy some relax time within a good viewing area whilst they played in the water. The food was also great variety. Will return for sure

Will always return to Sandstone Point Holiday Resort. The facilities are immaculate and the staff and service is above and beyond. Beats all expectations! Perfect place for the kids and they have created such a welcoming and safe environment for families. Lots to do with activities running everyday & outstanding room service. Cabins are extremely luxurious and always tidy & well kept. Thank you for many years to come SPHR!!

We had an amazing week staying @ Sandstone Point Resort in Feb 2025. We had a powered site, it was spotlessly clean when we arrived, the astro-turf was really high quality.
The amenities buildings were constantly being cleaned, no fixed schedule but always someone coming or going from cleaning them. The camp kitchens are massive with excellent facilities & also kept spotlessly clean by the staff.
Rate it as possibly the best caravan park I’ve stayed at. 6-stars
Loved the swim-up-bar as well.
