I was really looking forward to trying the beers here while on holiday but for me they fell short and were just ok. The main problem I had was how bitter some of them were. I tried 4 beers, Harry's pale ale, the session xpa, the Berry sour and the black IPA. Harry's was a miss for me, a bit light on the flavour hops and it was quite bitter, so I tried the session xpa and it was probably the most bitter xpa and mid strength beer I've ever had, my wife and I both struggled to finish it and i wasnt sure if there was also some astringency in there as well. The Berry sour was OK though and worth a can or two but the black IPA was the most bitter ive ever had and I just couldn't finish it. I'm fully aware their are stellar reviews for this brewery and I'm not trying to drag it down but my experience was so out of sync with my expectations based on previous reviews I read and I was left scratching my head as to why! Maybe bitter is better down the coast? All up I gave it a 3/5 as it was OK but not great. *Edit, we tried a hazy Pale that they had on tap at Club Narooma and it was awesome! Hoppy, not too bitter and delicious, but they didn't have it on tap at the brewery. If I was at club Narooma again I'd get that one in a heartbeat

We have been three times now and we love it.
Great beers, great food truck food and chilled out atmosphere. Plenty of street parking.
Hellraiser and Harry are the faves. The stout and red ale are also amazing.
Something extra for the kids would be handy like card/board games, but they just cartwheel around on the grass and climb the tree out front.
A great little spot.
We had booked a place in Narooma for dinner but wishes we could stay ... And afterwards we still wished we'd stayed.
Next time we will stay for dinner!

Visted a few times post mtb ride on our way back into narooma. Really cool venue and amazing beers. Big selection of taps and freshly canned takeaways. The red ipa and black ipa were on point. Even the mid strength was packed full of flavour and was the perfect option for the designated driver.
Looking forward to visiting again next time I'm mountain biking in narooma.

Great place to enjoy some craft beers. My wife enjoyed the beers more than I did. We got a tasting paddle and she selected mainly IPAs style beers. I am not a fan of IPAs but I must say I liked most.

The brewery has a nice feel to it. It is rather small scale and you can't buy beers in cans, just yet (April 2021). Growlers are your only take away option. They also had a nice food truck serving chicken wings. These went down well with the beer ;).

Hope to be back soon to try some more beers next time and find out whether big Niles is still alive.

When you travelling down the South coast, be sure to make a stop at Big Niles! Amazing selection on tap, my favourite was the passionfruit sour. During our stay we became the regular kiwi locals and felt like part of the family. Thanks Holly for being so patient with us all 😉
