We only had a short time in Sydney and bought the Essential which allowed us to use the service for 24hrs. We did the red line and the ferry to Manly one day and the next day the blue line to Bondie. All 3 trips were great. The red line had a lot packed in for a 2 hour round trip! The whole experience was great for a short stay. Shout out to the French attendant Alexandra, she was helpful with my bag and a pleasure to talk too. A great customer experience!

Combined Package Price: You can get a combined package with Captain Cook Cruises - Hop On Hop Off Sydney Harbour Explorer, which would be cheaper overall.

Sight Seeing: Highly recommended to take the big bus tour. Note that it is a 24 hours pass, so it need not be used in 1 day, instead it can span from let's say 1 pm on day 1 to 1 pm on day 2. So you can plan your itinerary to make the best use of this. Head to the upper deck, so you can have a higher and better view of Sydney buildings and iconic landmarks.

Outdoor Ventilation: The wind can be cold while the bus is moving, so I recommend to wear a long sleeve or thick clothes. On the other hand, the sun can be very strong as well, so sun lotion is recommended as well.

Location: There are many Big Bus stop locations within the Sydney Central Business District and also to Bondi Beach. The routes would lead to multiple hotels, attractions and shopping.

Must go if its your first time to sydney. Very helpful staff and drivers towards elderly and kids.

Covers major attractions and their bundle with the ferry is a good value for money if you use it over a few days.

We’ve just arrived in Sydney and decided to take a quick tour of the city. We hopped on at stop number 3, where Deborah was incredibly helpful, providing us with lots of useful information. Despite the less-than-ideal weather, we thoroughly enjoyed both the city and Bondi tours.
We’re hoping for better weather tomorrow so we can make the most of the buses and ferry!

My family and I enjoyed the Big Bus tours, seeing Sydney, listening to Australian history and tidbits on culture, and getting to go around the biggest tourist attractions.

I would like to commend Mr. Peter Roda, the tickets salesman in Circular Quay, for being very friendly and giving my family great tips on places to see. We got the Big 4 (Sydney Eye, Madame Tussaud’s, SEA Life Aquarium, and the zoo beside it) tickets as per his recommendation and ended up saving a good deal than if we bought individual tickets per location.

Our family had lots of fun, and I highly recommend taking the Big Bus Tours especially for your first visit to Sydney!

I loved taking the Big Bus around Sydney!! It’s a cheesy but fun way to see the city! The buses were frequent, the route was convenient, and it was so fun to see the city and the different suburbs from the roof of the bus! The commentary was educational and interesting and the ride was smooth. Would highly recommend for a fun activity to do in the city!
