July 2023 - LAKE EYRE OUTBACK AIR SAFARI

As a solo young female traveller, you made travelling the outback possible. Who wants to drive when you can fly?! I immediately felt safe amongst the group and made amazing friends that I will cherish. Honestly the best holiday I have been on!

Flying into these towns is the most amazing way to see the ever-changing landscapes, gather in iconic pubs and tour around. It truly opens your eyes to the vastness and beauty of Australia.

These trips are beautifully and thoughtfully curated to get the most out of the time you have in each town with bucket list items on the agenda as well as local history, stories and time to explore at your own pace. There were so many highlights - from the flinders ranges, starry night skies, dinosaurs, drinks in iconic pubs and wine tastings in the vineyard.

The flight experience were perfect every time, able to rotate seats ensuring we got to see from each perspective along the way. Pilot James, took marvellous care of the aircraft and flights were smooth from start to finish.

The accomodation selected is fantastic with cozy and comfortable rooms in each location with outstanding food options included.

My husband and I did a trip to outback Queensland with James in May 2023 and it was absolutely everything we could of asked for. James is a fabulous host and I can honestly say he and his team went out of their way to ensure that we all had a great time. The accommodation and meals were superb and quite a surprise at William Creek, I had the best veggie burger I have ever tasted in my life; would go back just for seconds..... Every place we visited was exceptional and all hosts were most welcoming wherever we went. It felt as though we had been away for two weeks rather than six days, the schedule was so full. I would travel again with BFC Air Safaris in a heartbeat. I'm sure my fellow passengers feel exactly the same. Can't wait to see what James and the team have in store in the future.

We recently had the pleasure of taking a flightseeing trip over Cape York, and it was an unforgettable experience. James was incredibly accommodating, altering the course for special requests or when we spotted something interesting below. The itinerary was extensive and every detail of the trip was perfectly organized, from airstrip transfers to ground tours, accommodation, and meals. The flight itself was smooth, and there was enough room on the plane to make the journey comfortable. Highly recommended for anyone looking to minimise corrugations and explore Cape York from a new perspective!

Our tour over Lake Eyre in July was amazing especially the sunrise flight over the lake & the rich green landscape currently existing over the desert. BFC Air Safaris had every little detail arranged for us in each town we visited & James portrayed the professional pilot he is. This is our first small group flight tour & we hope there will be many more.

We have just spent the most amazing four days with James travelling to and over Lake Eyre. If you are like us and would never drive to these remote but absolutely charming remote places then this is definitely the way to go. Four perfectly organised and spectacular days indulging in sights and tastes that have to be experienced. Lake Eyre was beyond our wildest dreams - even getting up in the dark and cold - was totally worth it. James you are a legend and your tour was what dreams are made of. Thanks.
