No words can express the beauty of this place. We had our wedding there and it was stunning! The cabins were perfect for our guests and they all enjoyed their stay. A few options to choose where to have the ceremony on site and it was wonderful having our reception there also. The day was beautiful and at night the lights made it look like a piece of heaven also. Lee is just amazing! Very friendly, supportive throughout the whole process in the lead up to the wedding and on the day itself. I am so glad we chose this venue, it really resonated with the both of us and will forever hold a very special place in our hearts and in our memories. I can't thank Lee and the staff enough for making our wedding day so special. I highly recommend this venue, you won't be disappointed!

My husband and I got married at Bewong River Retreat in September. It’s a beautiful location and great venue, allowing us the flexibility to make our wedding dreams and visions become a reality. The wedding co-ordinator Lee took the stress out of planning a wedding as she contacted vendors, set up & packed down and ensured the day ran smoothly.
Throughout the whole process Lee was fantastic, with her years of experience and expertise. Lee was great at communicating and was always a phone call or text away.
We had a an amazing experience with Bewong!

Absolutely loved our stay in the Wattle Room at Bewong Retreat!
The spa bath was big and luscious with a gorgeous view of the eucalyptus trees.
The rooms were comfortable, clean and spacious. From the balcony you could see the river, such a nice spot for sunset drinks!
Surrounded by Kangaroos and beautiful bird life with lovely bush walks on the property. We had such a beautiful stay! Would absolutely recommend x

We could not have asked for a better venue! Bewong was the most beautiful property, with the perfect amount of cabins for your nearest and dearest to stay. Lee is an absolute legend and will make anything happen. She is an amazing communicator and was always quick to respond. There was never too big of an ask. I work in events and a lot of venues can make set up and pack down a pain, I have never worked at a venue that was so flexible with timings, which made everything a breeze to set up and pack down. It meant we could enjoy the whole weekend with our family and friends. Lee and her team can make it happen, we had to change our ceremony spot due to rain an hour before the guests arrived and Lee and the team had it set up perfectly ready to go before the guests arrived. Bill was always around to help take the rubbish and might have a bush poem or two along the way. Bewong is incredibly beautiful and run perfectly, always flexible with what you would like to do and more than happy for you to have a good time. If you are looking for a venue down South, you'll regret it if you don't go with Bewong. They are the best!

We had our wedding here mid November 2023 and wow was this location amazing! Being able to stay onsite for 3 days with our friends and family, BBQ area for the night before and morning after the wedding (you might also be treated to a special performance from the groundskeeper bush poet!), all weather options and saying I Do next to the river made our wedding weekend so special. Cannot recommend Bewong River Retreat enough. Lee and the team were so easy and on top of everything. We also loved that we could have a combination of DIY and the amazing Lee to help co-ordinate the day so we could enjoy ourselves.

Absolutely magical setting staying in quirky but comfortable cabins. We loved the serenity, the hammock on our balcony overlooking the creek and the spacious and open plan architecture of the accommodation. One tip - bring your own supplies - no milk or coffee in the room. But that’s a small issue that didn’t detract from our stay at all.

We hired Bewong River Retreat to have our wedding there and we couldn't have been happier with our choice.

The onsite accommodation made it so that all our family and friends who travelled from overseas could spend the weekend together.

As part of our package we had Lee who was just fantastic and coordinated everything in the lead up to and across the weekend. Thinking of every aspect to ensure that we had the exact wedding we wanted. It made it so easy and seamless.

1000% would recommend.
