Half way between Ulladulla and Nowra is bewong reststop. There are a few tables to sit and have a break, and have a lovely farm view.
It doesn't matter which side of the highway you are turning from, you can exit boths ways and continue on your journey
The toilets are enclosed but are eco toilets, your sitting over a whole in the ground and looking at the bowl movements of those who came before you, lol
But when you have to go, you have to go.
Bring your own toilet paper as there was none.
A stop to remember, we had a laugh

Not sure how this can be called a REST area with overnight camping. Literally just a carpark right on the road. Don't even bother stopping here. Very misleading photos on Google reviews.

If I could leave minus stars, I would. There are toilets and picnic tables but the toilets were extremely dirty. They stank very bad of human feces and urine and had no flush and no soap so take hand sanitizer and baby wipes and a peg for your nose! Do not go to these toilets UNLESS you are VERY VERY VERY DANGEROUS AND SICK AND DESPERATE AND BRAVE.

Good little rest stop. Stayed overnight, about eight over vehicles also there. Well lit. Toilets a bit worse for wear but there if you need them. Road noise not too bad but bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper.

Small rest stop northbound with picnic tables
Food and petrol across the highway, there is a pedestrian path to cross and turning bays to access.
Bathrooms available on both sides.
Kept reasonably clean, good parking for trucks if not too many cars hogging large spaces.

Gets very cold at night here

Good rest area, Tidy with nice view of an open paddock with trees for your view. Road quite noisy but ok with a good set of earplugs. Cicaders really noisy and the drop toilets are not for the faint hearted but a good spot for free.

Right on the main road. OK for an overnight park, pit toilet probably need your own paper and hand sanitizer! Possible to pitch a small tent but not great for that.
