An amazing thing to do. A stunning bike ride. The team at Better by Bike were great. The bikes were in top condition, information and service was excellent. We used the shuttle service due to limited time which was very efficient - rode south 22km and got picked up at the pub. Hope to do it again soon.

Fantastic day out. The rail trail is stunning every inch of the way, great places to pause for a snack or lunch. The better by bike people were fantastic. Picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel. Everyone was super friendly and very professional and the bikes were astoundingly good. I am a rubbish cyclist but was very comfortable on these e bikes which were so responsive. Would recommend everyone for a great day out.

Wow! There’s not many places I leave and think to myself ‘I have to leave a review for that place online’. We received professional and kind advice, the bike we hired was amazing, the information given to us was very helpful and we had the best day ever. The bike we hired was very comfortable and easily fit myself and my 10-year-old on the back. The foot pegs for her were comfortable, and the bike was very easy to use. There was a space at the back of the bike to also put my picnic bag. It is an easy ride to get to the end and back. The bike was fitted with a light, which is great for the long tunnel.

We had a great day on our Christmas party. The service was great and the bikes were amazing and had perfect power to help you along the way. The views were extremely picturesque.
We saw glow worms in the tunnels which was a highlight. Be sure to stop at hosanna farm stay for a coffee and check out the animals.
Would definitely recommend for anyone

Great efficient, helpful and professional service. And Northern Rivers Rail trail is the best bike trail I’ve been on! So picturesque, going through lovely forests and towns. Cute shops and food along the way. We were proabably a bit ambitious going the whole length and back in one day with given we started late and stopped for lunch and shopping:). We were plum tuckered out by the end of the day.

Great bikes, they have loads of electric bikes at $95 for 4hrs hire. I rented a mountain bike for $35 for 4hrs (they don't have many mountain bikes so you should maybe book it before hand if you can). The trail is super chill with beautiful views, definitely a lovely day activity for everyone. The bike shop is also at the start of the trail so it's almost too perfectly located! We found this little rest stop about 16kms into the trail.

This was the most enjoyable bike ride my friend and I had in a long time. The owners are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, the bikes are top quality e-bikes in perfect condition, and the trail is easy to ride. Beautiful scenery and a step back in time to the days of the early settlers following this old train track. We are keen to come back to ride the other sections of the trail, or the whole trail with overnight stops once completed.

Better By Bike were amazing. Our original booking with another company fell through and Better By Bikes promptly got our group of 17 people outfitted with fabulous e-bikes. They bent over backwards to assist us and were professional and friendly and very knowledgeable, I would highly recommend them. The Northern Rivers Bike Trail is a great day out!!
