Receptionist was super helpful and friendly. Quick and easy check in. Nice large clean room. Great bathroom. We booked 9h30am to 3pm as we had a 11h30pm departure flight. Only $145 for a good sleep and shower. Bring on the red-eye flight... we'll be well rested and fresh as daisies.

Great reception service on arrival. As we were two ladies the twin bed unit was at the back of the complex which was not a tidy area. The room was small with a double and single bed both were comfortable. We found an extra blanket and duvet in the cupboard as only sheets on the bed. The bathroom was OK with a walking shower.
The continental breakfast was ample cereals, yoghurt and fruit also 3 types of toast and spread varieties. We loved chatting to the other guests.
Value for money yes as how often is breakfast included.
The train across the road is easy access to the airport.

Room was very basic for the price you pay. Bed was very hard. Requested a cot for my 4 month old. Was not there when I arrived so had to wait till the next day to ask them to be told it will be $44. Hot water could only be used out of peak hour. Extremely noisy with the train station across the road and the glass not begin double glazed.
It was close to the airport which was good. But I definitely won't be staying there again.

Also states payment on arrive but I was called the day before requesting I pay over the phone. Also when I arrived the guy requested to see the bank card I paid with verifying the numbers which was extremely weird as I already paid.

Your reply is irrelevant - I did request a cot on my booking thank you I also spoke to someone on the phone making sure I would have the cot and was lied to and was going to be charged. When I spoke to the guy on the second day he told me it would be $44.00 for the remaining 2 nights so again your reply is irrelevant.
When I've stayed at other hotels and paid in advance I do not need to show my cards. Drivers license yes but not my bank card. So again irrelevant. Will not be staying with your hotel again when visiting Brisbane

Best Western Airport Motel, wonderful people!

I made the mistake of booking at the Airway Motel, half a block from this Best Western. The manager of the Airway Motel wanted to charge me $20 to store my luggage until the room was ready and said he would NEVER let anyone check in early.

The staff at the Best Western allowed me to store my luggage, they were polite and courteous. If I pass through this area again I'll be staying at the Best Western. They helped me out even though I wasn't a customer. I'll certainly be one in the future!

On our first stay here they let us leave our luggage at the front desk due to some flight issues so we could explore the city.

On our second stay here they let us check in early. Front desk staff were super friendly and go above and beyond.

The beds were comfortable and the close proximity to the train station to get into the city was super convenient. If we ever find ourselves in Brisbane again we would stay here again. Highly recommend.

A great little hotel. I stayed here after missing a cruise connection, and had to find a hotel at extremely short notice for 3 people. |Well placed for public transport. Close to a good bowls club for evening meals. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean. The room was well maintained and cleaned/beds made after each night. A complimentary breakfast was provided and was a nice touch. The staff were friendly and helpful. |I would definitely stay here again.

We appreciated the closeness to car hire place and airport but in reality this is a VERY basic motel with limited services. When booking I had requested a ground floor room with ease of access to bathroom and moving space within the room itself for my elderly mother (81) on a walking frame. On arrival we had been put in an upstairs room! I know I’d booked through a third party booking agent, but I’d messaged the motel with this request. The reception person moved us downstairs but unfortunately we were put in a dingy room at the back of the motel looking out on all the wet dirty laundry and the linen storage tin shed.

During our stay (2 nights) majority of the time the access path was blocked with dirty linen trolleys, cleaning trolleys, fencing sections, and old shopping trolleys making it difficult to navigate with a walker frame. It was very unpleasant.

Beds are not fitted with blankets and I had to request some extra bedding for warmth. Staff tried telling me the top sheet on the bed was a blanket, and to use the heater if I got cold! Eventually she supplied me with a doona (no cover on it, threads hanging off all over). Upon return to my room with doona, I discovered it was in fact damp and wet in some sections from being in the linen shed after heavy rain all day.

Breakfast is basic. I think they’ve supplied the cheapest cereals possible. Yoghurt was utterly vile. Fruit offered would be much nicer if it were a diced option to add to breakfast cereal. I’m unsure why milk was UHT and would have appreciated fresh milk options. Money paid for room is more than enough to cater a better breakfast provided. More money could definitely be spent on better quality cereals, yoghurt, and coffee. As for breville machine coffee at $5 for a small cup…Overpriced!!!

Same price gouging goes for the mini bar prices. If this motel was remote Northern Territory with transport costs involved, I’d understand the prices, but as it’s Brisbane city there’s no reason for a soft drink at $4 or bottle of water at $4… convenience of snacks doesn’t warrant this exorbitant pricing, in my experience.

Some parts of the bathroom were a bit dirty and had rust, which made it feel unclean. I’m also unsure if the linens and pillowcases were properly changed—my pillowcase was put on inside out, which made me question whether it had just been flipped over and if they really change all the linen. The back of the bedside table was extremely dusty. Wifi is very slow too. Overall, it was a disappointing and unpleasant experience.

Location wise, it is good it is near train station and bus stop.
