First time visiting Magnetic island. Booked accommodation at peppers blue on blue
room: 1242 through Best of Magnetic. The staff were lovely on arrival and Kristyn was super helpful over emails with recommendations etc. the room was beautiful and in a good location… very close to what you need. Would definitely book through them again in the future.

Excellent location, great layout of the villa, lovely pool and sun lounge area. Very well maintained. We had such a relaxing time at reflections iin beautiful Picnic Bay. Very easy welcome and check out at Best of Magnetic offices.

Great location in Nelly Bay, only steps away from the ferry wharf and bus stop. The apartment was spacious and clean with great views of the marina. The kitchenette is a handy bonus, only issue was the uncomfortable bed which needs replacing, or at the very least having the mattress updated.

Great house design, in need of some TLC. Screens and window shutters required repair and cleaning, rather dusty with cobwebs and some were rusty.
Some of the household equipment needed replacing. No information pack for appliances and island amenities. Opposite a building site with tradies and even a crane lifting framework on the roof. Other sold plots in close awaiting building works. Require a car to access house as a long walk from the bus stop. Happy with car pick up and hire.
Beds and linen clean and well presented. Little in the way of a welcome pack on arrival for the price paid.
Not sufficient seating in lounge area only three seats so had to use outdoor furniture.
Enjoyed watching wildlife from front deck.

Hired a MG on Sunday just gone for the day, it cost $85 for a full day hire plus $15 for a lower excess. Car lasted 2 hours before it started to play up. It went into limp mode with a top speed of 30kph. I took it back to the office (still had to put $15 of fuel in it) and was told " no mechanic on today so can't help". No offer of a replacement vehicle or of any refund. It ruined our day so we ended up changing our ferry ride back to Townsville to an earlier one. 2 hours on Nagnetic, $115 spent on a dodgy car for 2 hours use and nothing from this hire company. Waste of a day! Take your own car or use one of the other hire xar companies.
