We have been using Best Friends for a couple of years now and it's only just occurred to me that I haven't written a review yet! We have been all up and down the east coast and used close to 50 different pet resorts and this one stands out as the best. Right from the beginning they very polite, respectful and professional and they always remember the names of our dogs, we don't even need to mention anything when we walk in anymore. Our dogs are always extremely excited when we drop them off and they are happy when we pick them up which means they take great care of them. Pricing is very reasonable and I can't recommend them highly enough!

Our fur babies were there for boarding and they loved it! They looked very happy, well looked after and clean.

The staff were amazing and patiently answered our (many) questions. Highly recommended and we will use their services again!

Best care anywhere. We found doggy daycare when our puppy just had far too much energy during the day for me to deal with when I was working from home. It is now his happy place and even though I would happily have him home with me all the time, he has so much fun with his friends and is taking care of so well by the amazing team we take him there three days a week just because it makes him so happy. Highly recommend for doggy daycare and longer stays during holidays.

So friendly, helpful, very smooth drop off and pick up, treats everyday which our fur baby loves. They were able to accommodate him after radiation treatment for a safe comfy stay while he couldn't be at home 😁

Really bad experience with best friend pet center,
My dog been there 3days with at least 3kg my own food, and when I got the dog back afternoon around 5pm, he lost 2kg weight and diarrhea so bad, vomiting yellow. I asked staff when was last feeding, the staff said they had it done around lunchtime, it’s pretty obvious they are lying, there is nothing in the vomiting but yellow fluids. The dog is dehydrated so bad, pee in really dark color, and they said they cannot hear me clearly because the barking in the center, and they hanged up the phone and didn’t call back till now.
If you want your dog alive, don’t go there. Bad customer service and bad taking care of nothing…

The hospital claims that the dog is dehydrated really bad and definitely been taken something wrong, especially not feeding properly, even though not enough water..

My cat is an indoor cat and very shy. I started using Best Friend Pet Centre this year when I moved to Canberra. The staff have been extremely welcoming and friendly. They offer a range of services to ensure your loved pet is looked after. The boarding spaces are very roomy, and I like how it’s away from all the noise. My cat is very happy to be there. Our pup stayed here for a week this summer. She is a very anxious dog but when we came to pick her up she had bonded with the staff and actually played with some other dogs. Although we didn’t pay for a bath, they bathed her before pick up. Very happy with this place!
