We stayed at this wonderful home with a group of friends during winter and it was SO COSY! Fantastic being able to use the fire, and the huge kitchen is great for entertaining. Highly recommend for a fun get away with family or friends - plus there are so many great wineries near by. The pool is gorgeous too - I imagine for a summer escape the kids would live in there!

Bernstein Estate is the perfect place to stay in the Hunter Valley. The location was great and very close too all the wineries. The property is just fabulous with everything we needed and more. Gorgeous country style, plenty of entertaining areas, saltwater pool, fireplace to keep us nice and toasty and a fire pit outside too. Prime location and setting for a vino and relaxing with good company. I would 100% recommend a stay at Bernstein Estate!

Just had the best weekend at Bernstein estate for a family weekend getaway! The house had everything you needed, the beds were super comfortable and the pool was awesome with the Hunter Valley hot weather. Really close to wineries without being in the middle of it all! Will book again!

We had a fantastic time at Bernstein Estate this Christmas! Communication with reception was excellent, check in was easy and the house was clean and better then expected. Very spacious, comfortable rooms and furniture. Only suggestion would be to check the air con remotes and the Bluetooth speaker as some remotes didn't work and the speaker wouldn't turn on. Each bedroom has ceiling fans and air conditioning which is wonderful! To describe the layout of the house, you enter through the front door into a hallway with 2 bedrooms on each side, followed by a door to close off from the living areas, which is good for keeping sound out in the morning from early risers. Next is the main bathroom on the right, followed by the laundry with second smaller bathroom coming off the side. There is a second, smaller fridge in the laundry with was a welcome surprise as we used this as a drinks fridge and didn't need to purchase ice! On the left is the kitchen which is spacious and has everything you need including glad wrap, foil, paper towel and even peanut butter! The kitchen flows into the open dining and lounge areas, followed by a double door leading into the alfresco area and pool. The wrap around veranda was lovely and had various sitting areas which we utilised to enjoy drinks whilst waiting for in-laws to arrive and in the mornings to watch the sheep in the paddock next door. The house was perfect for a summer getaway but would also be ideal in winter with the cosy, indoor fireplace and firepit outside. Highly recommend this very peaceful house for your next stay in the hunter valley!

Great house, comfortable, all facilities provided for kitchen and bathrooms. Beds are super comfortable with soft inviting covers for a cosy nights sleep.
Very clean.
Plenty of seating for everyone inside lounge/ kitchen.
Ample fridge space for our group of wine drinking ladies!
Lovely outdoor BBQ and pool area.
Rural cottage style accom, No near neighbours.
I recommend this home as great getaway base for touring Hunter Valley

The house is so perfect for groups! Eight ladies enjoying the surrounds, vineyards, local pub, cozy fireplace, and the comfort of walking in and having everything needed to enjoy such a memorable holiday. Would recommend for any Hunter Valley stay!

We stayed here last winter and it was lovely. Beautiful grounds and plenty of room. We had a long lunch at a nearby winery and then curled up in front of the fire at Bernstein Estate, it was perfect.

The house is beautiful and in the perfect location! Close to wineries and super comfy and spacious, as a group of 9 we had tons of room. Had an amazing time here, visiting Australia from Canada 🙂
