The moment I walked into the room I was greeted with the smell of smoke that made me gag and need to vomit. The smell of the room was horrific!!
One of the beds weren’t made which exposed a dirty old stained mattress.
The carpet was absolutely filthy and the lounge and coffee table looked like they were from a dump.

What this place lacks in amenities is more than compensated by the service.
Walking distance to everything you need. If the pool was available I'd have happily given 5 stars.

We stayed 2 nights in September and enjoyed our stay. Check in was easy and parking right outside the room. The room was a decent size with a good size bathroom. It was clean and the beds comfortable. There was a good fridge and the wi fi was also very good. The location is excellent only about a 5 minute walk to the city centre and about a 5 minute drive to the beach. There was a bit of traffic noise at night but we slept pretty well. We have no trouble recommending Bells Motel.

Very nice owner/managers , comfortable bed and room, quite and clean and perfectly placed as a 3 star. The issue for me personally is that in this area of town, all the accommodation is over-priced . We stayed the next night in Brisbane at the Sheraton for less than we paid here. There is lot of accommodation in Coffs but can sell out quickly ,so book early to get good deals. Another issue was the rooms are all non-smoking (as they should be) but as some rooms don't have space outside due to the placement of the swimming pool, other people sat outside our room, on our table and chairs to smoke. A 3rd big issue was in the morning, when a lot of people are having showers at the same time , we ended up with cold water. When I spoke to owner , as we were leaving, this was an issue they already knew about. Not good enough guys, not at these prices and it hasn't occurred overnight.

After few visits to Coffs in past few years finally found the best Motel. Very clean & comfy rooms with great lighting inside. Covered car park is awesome. Internet is faster than my Vodafone 4G. Had a great stay. Surely coming back again.

Very small room. The toilet and shower was a combo room. Very clean and tidy. Beds were crisp and comfortable. The lady / owner showed us to our room and suggested eatery's really lovely and friendly. But unfortunately far far too expensive.

I stayed here for one night and the room as very cheap (under $100) No dinner is provided so eating out is the only way to get dinner. The bed mattress was a bit on the soft side and I had a sore lower back but I must admit my mattress at home is rock hard. The room was clean and the WiFi connection was fast and easy. There is under cover parking too for when it rains. Breakfast is provided and is also good.
Except for the bed mattress everything was great.

Double booked the rooms and told us first in best dressed, claimed communication but never did. Never staying here again, worst motel system ive seen in use in 2023. Not worth your time or money
