Nurses are fantastic but that's where it stops. Doctors don't t know much, surgeons well they don't exist. good luck on getting fed. Transferal from Bega to Canberra what a joke. Lies after lies about when patient transport will be there. Unless you have no choice avoid this place at all costs!!! Sad to see such a beautiful facility being abused by the system and lack of staff.

Nice looking small country regional hospital. Plenty of parking most of the time. Cafe for indoor/outdoor attached to hospital is fabulous. Great food and beverage. Very popular. I think we are very fortunate to have the hospital. Cannot complain of the variety of different services and specialists it provides within the hospital and the care and treatment provided. Both my husband and I have had positive experience for our different issues recently. Doctors and staff have been very good and lovely.

I have just spent 5 days in the COVID isolation ward at the Bega Hospital. A huge thanks to the medical team led by Dr John Hounsell, who were absolutely first class. Dr Hounsell was excellent in relation to his knowledge, empathy, communications and follow up. He is a real asset to the Bega Hospital. His supporting doctors and nurses were also extremely good and as a collective team, they need to be nutured, encouraged and supported.........as this level of combined expertise is rare in a regional hospital. Modern and clean hospital. Has easy parking and friendly staff.

The cafe here (Hudsons) is open 6am to 6pm even on weekends! Great place to get a coffee if everywhere else is closed.

After being turned back twice by our local hospital before our holiday , my daughter became quite unwell during our stay and we had to rush her into hospital . As soon as they saw her they acted immediently offering the care she need and required with such love and passion from all the paediatric team. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you and getting my daughter home before her birthday and to have enough time to finish our holiday . It was scary for us and you guys were so supportive off my fears.
