Lovely friendly staff, had a 2 night stay. Water pressure was a little on the low side but had hot water. Not a fan of wet room bathrooms but we were only there to sleep and that was the closest place to where we needed to go daily while there. I would stay again if need be because the staff were friendly and helpful. You don’t see that much these days.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Staff are very welcoming. Area is very quiet. The 79 landcruiser fitted fine in the parking, no issues! Rooms are great, only thing I can fault is the sheets were not well cleaned unfortunately.
I would return here again though, it’s a good stay and price is good.

Very convenient place to stay in Redland Bay, if you're looking for a quiet weekend away from BrisVegas..

Reasonable rates compared to City prices etc etc.. Excellent for a great Budget Mini-Holiday, or Long Weekend and for a Mid-Week Romantic Getaway..

Very convenient for Islanders too, when we can't get on the vehicle barge until tomorrow, or missed "The Last Ferry Home" again..

Great Hosts and Service, Clean Rooms and very comfortable beds..

However a bit over-priced for "Emergency Islander 🏝️ Accommodation"..

Would be awesome to have available a basic budget bed until the first ferry or barge in the morning..

Maybe have share rooms or a dormitory.

I had a lovely stay at Redland Bay Motel just for one night as a solo guest. Thanks to Maxine at reception who was friendly, welcoming and kindly accommodated me with an early check-in. The room met all my requirements and although the bathroom vanity was in need of an upgrade, everything else was well appointed and comfortable. The shower was amazing, the air -con was invaluable (it was 35 degrees on the days of my visit to Brisbane), the bed was very comfy and the motel is located in a quiet area, in walking distance to the shops and the ferry terminals. I was super happy with my whole experience staying at Redland Bay Motel and would highly recommend to anyone.

The three stars I gave this motel are cleanliness, location and lovely staff.

Very basic set up, hospital like bathroom.

We had a horrible sleep, the bed in our room needs to be replaced.

Reading reviews I wonder which room others were reviewing. The room we were allotted is very old style and needs refurbishing. When we came in it was dark and a job to see our way to our room. On entering the room we wished we had a torch as we could not find the light switch which turned out to be at the back of the room opposite the bathroom. The old style toilet is very low. Toiletries were in dispensers. Shower curtain stained and mildewed at the bottom. The bathroom cupboard doors and drawers are peeling and surface lifting. Shower surrounds need attention. The room itself is small and clean, I found the mattress not firm enough. There were signs for motel guests to only have 4 minute showers so we washed ourselves in cold water as hot took so long to come through and we boiled the kettle to wash up cups etc. The fridge only worked if turned right up. No toaster provided. The 2 chairs were very firm outside chairs. So no comfortable chairs on which to sit in the evening. I would expect far better for the $120 fee. We have had far better for much less. As it is the only Motel in town there is no competition. We decided to only stay the 1 night.

Clean and tidy. Quiet leafy outdoor setting. Nice location in a quiet street in walking or bike riding distance to Redland Bay Hotel and many breakfast options.
We enjoyed our little push bike trip away!
