Good base for all that the area offers. Room was comfortable, clean and spacious. Air conditioning quiet and efficient. Local amenities include country club (across the road) supermarket (next door) and plenty of take away options. A good cafe is across the parking lot. One negative is the wi-fi which was slow and intermittent. This was mentioned to staff who mentioned that this was a general issue in the area. Recommended if you need a base to explore the bay and basin area.

Unfortunately, we weren't impressed with this motel and would not stay here again.
The room was reasonably priced admittedly, the bed ensemble was old, and we had a very uncomfortable nights sleep, the bathroom was tiny with no bench space at all.
The entrance foyer and stairwell smelt of mildew and dampness and was extremely off-putting, and the verandah entrance to the building was very dirty.
Really not a great impression on arrival.
The location was central, but unfortunately, we were under the impression that there was secure parking. Our mistake as the carpark was open to anyone visiting the shopping/business precinct.
The check-in procedure was quite complicated, with us having to call a phone number from outside the building, give them our names, then hang up whilst they checked us in. They then called us back and proceeded to step us through access to our room.
All seemed a bit complicated and lengthy.
The staff were polite and did apologise for the long delay in check-in, but unfortunately, there was no on-site staff that we could find to talk to.

Website needs updating - very false. Remote check in which was not pointed out at time of booking - never saw a person. We couldn't make calls from our UK mobiles so couldn't call any of the numbers. Thankfully another guest arrived. She made numerous phone calls and eventually contacted someone. She kindly let us use her phone for the manager to talk us through room access. Room was dark and dull. Window didn't close - which I notice someone complained about in June. So room noisy. Bed was comfy. Good fridge. Compared to other places we have stayed on our trip this was very disappointing. Need to be honest with guests about lack of staff and bar etc. Not sure what would happen in a fire - how do you account for everyone?

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of service and accommodations here. From the moment I checked in, the staff was incredibly attentive and helpful, making me feel like a valued guest. The room was spotless and tastefully decorated, with all the amenities I could ask for .The location was also convenient, with easy access to highways and local attractions. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would definitely stay here again.

Thoroughly mediocre experience.

You can only book through a website. There's no reception to check in and book through.
When I arrived, the door was locked to the lobby, despite it being the hours the motel was listed as open. I made arrangements to come back later. When I returned, the door was still locked. Getting nervous, I started calling numbers on the door. Some did not answer. I eventually got an answer and was remotely checked in to the door and my room.

My room was very nice. Had plenty of amenities and charm. It was mostly clean, but the dusting and sweeping missed a few spots. Not a deal-breaker.

A tile in the bathroom came loose. This happens. Not a deal-breaker.

The wifi was buggy. I could connect, but it did not provide any internet. Eventually, I disconnected because it was more trouble than it was worth. Had there been staff on-site, I would have mentioned the above issues. Usually this is fixed by turning the router off and on.

I never saw an employee while there. A little odd.

I reached out to an employee after to go over the above points. No response was received.

It's a good place to stay. Nice rooms and amazing service. But surely it's a different vibe than other nsw regional towns. May be because of security reasons. But I don't why but their pillows were way to firm. May be it's a good options to carry your own.

No present staff to check you in. Must be done via phone on your arrival. Mobile phone numbers taped to the door but go to voicemail. Eventually got access to my room (all rooms on 1st floor) which took 4 trips from my car up and down stairs only to find when I unpacked, the aircon did not work. Phoned and was given access to another room, therefore another 4 trips to move my gear, including my 15yo dog. 2nd room was lovely and I had a relaxing evening.
