Unfortunately the shower had black mould in the grout and edges and a lamp didn’t work next to the bed. Location is ok but rooms need attention. Also digital alarm clock went off at 1.30am.

NB. Before sharing this, I did reach out to the Motel but did not get a response (that was 4 weeks ago)

BEWARE ROOM 30
I arrived back to the hotel after dinner with family and I’d gone into the bathroom to get a glass of water

Unfortunately it appears that the faucet or some fixture under the vanity had been leaking and there was water all over the floor (which wasn’t able to be seen)
My feet went from under me, I landed badly on my coccyx and the back of by head hit the tile floor quite aggressively

Now I’m a fit and usually very agile person in my mid-40's. Had this been anyone older, the result could have been a lot worse if not critical!!

I suffered painful headaches for a few days, and needed Chiropractic attention

Great location but terrible customer service.
Arrived after a big day attending a funeral. The receptionist was not at all friendly or welcoming. Went to our room and found we were surrounded by a group booking that were very loud. Rang and asked if we could get a quieter room. Told that we could get a deluxe room down the back for another $25. We decided to take it so moved. Get to the new room and found we were in amongst a lot of tradies. The room was a lot better than the first one so hoped it would be quieter. Awful smell coming up from the drains and very slippery bathroom floor.
Unfortunately we were woken at 5.30am by heavy walking in the room above us which sounded like an elephant and could hear their toilet flushing. Then you could hear all of the doors banging and cars starting up. On check out was not asked how our stay was and when I told the girl what had happened was met with disinterest and told you should have rung the after hours number. Asked to get a call from the manager but am still waiting. Should have stayed elsewhere when from the beginning it was hard to book and get confirmation

Great room for an exceptional price. ||Yes the rooms are older in style but clean and tidy. Comfortable bed.|Bathroom looked to have recently had a bit of a refurb so looked more modern the the room itself, hot water with great water pressure! ||Good location with a short walk to the park, Main Street etc. ||Enjoyable stay and would Gladly stay again.

“Stay Clear of this Motel you don't get what you paid for.”
We arrived late the Motel called and tex us were to get the key and room number. Great. The room we were given number 6 was not the room we booked. We are both in our mid 70s and not very mobile we were led to believe that we would have a walk-in shower no it had a shower over the bath I had a difficult time getting in and nearly fell over my wife could not get in as it was to dangerous so no shower for her. We were also thought we could park at the front door, no way about 50 meters away. Room 6 is very close to a noise intersection. Paint and plaster is flaking of the walls this Motel is not a 4 star i would give it 1 star. As we stayed in room 6 I can only comment on that room.
MY RESPONSE TO BATHURST MOTOR INN
We have stayed in motel rooms all over Australia and the USA we have never had a bathroom or ensuite like the three photos attached. We have always had a walk-in shower. If you had these photos in your official website gallery, we would not book any accommodation with you. I would suggest you post these photos on your website to show what you can expect when you book a Budget room. We arrived on Sunday after 4 PM and departed 7 AM Monday no one contactable to make a complaint.
NO FUTURE BOOKINGS FROM US.

Stayed here recently, even tho the room we booked hadn't been made up, the owner came over and was very apologetic about wot had happen, she upgraded us to an even better room which was very nice

Positives first: good value, clean, close to the centre of things, amenities including reverse cycle air conditioning, TV and showers are great, everything works (we found the power points hidden behind the double bed, which rolled out easily), roomy unit for 3/4 people and security/parking were all very good for this level of motel.||Only one negative - we were 3 larger adults, and found the beds uncomfortable. We breakfasted with a young man who said his parents had had the same experience, so probably not just us. If you are a sleep anywhere type, this won't bother you. If, like us, you are starting to feel hip and back issues, the mattresses seem soft to start with but unfortunately aren't very supportive overnight.
