We had the best time at our cocktail making class, Bartholomew’s was nothing but accomodating for everyone. Harry ran a fun class, the drinks were delicious the vibes were great. We had one extra person turn up that they were able to accomodate on short notice.
I appreciate all of the staff who went above and beyond to make it a memorable experience. Highly recommend for those thinking of a fun event for an end of year Christmas party.

Interesting venue and vibe was good until it got super busy. Great selection of spirits. Staff on our night were obviously new and just learning all the cocktails but they were doing great in the situation. Would go back again though.

We had an absolute ball, the ambience is spectacular. Food was delicious, we started the scallops, I had the steak, BBQ smokey mash was to die for, my wife had the baked fish and loved it.

Spent the evening here for a birthday celebration, we were a walk in as a pair. Bar staff are knowledgeable, attentive, and friendly. The atmosphere is fantastic with great complimentary music (a touch on the loud side but nothing that was bothersome), and also nails home that 1920s whisky bar theme they are going for. The food was EXCELLENT. Everything was perfect down to the dregs in the cocktails and the crumbs on the plate.
Will definitely be back.

Thoroughly enjoyed Bartholomew's. We were late into Newcastle CBD on Thursday night, surprised to find the bars closing at 9.15. Thankfully stumbled on Bartholomew's, serving great cocktails (most were $16) wine and beer. Saved our trip to Newcastle. Definitely recommend.

Wow missed out on getting in to this great place but finally got in and we were certainly not disappointed. The staff were excellent and extremely friendly. We had an entree before our main meal in which I had pork belly and my wife had the scotch fillet both were amazing such delicious food and tasted amazing. Well worth the experience to all the staff keep up the good work love it we loved every minute of the great service.

We had an Anniversary lunch here yesterday. Our Waiter( Sorry didn't get your name!) was great, friendly & made us feel very welcome. He was very knowledgeable. & my husband who has coeliac disease really enjoyed his meal.
