Thought we'd check out the Sunday roast. It was busy so surprisingly rapid service. Huge serve of beef. I ate the rest in a sandwich today.
But I got heaps of colourful veg while hubby got no spud nor broccoli. Being a good wife, I shared... PS beef needs horseradish and pork needs apple sauce to be really good.

Gluten free pizza was the worst I've had. All other orders on our table came out half an hour before the pizza, the pizza taking almost an hour. Pizza was luke warm and looke and tasted like it came from the supermarket. I then got food poisoning.

That being said everyone else's meals looked great, environment was friendly. Little to no other gluten free options available however.

A party of eight of us ordered the Sunday roast dinners yesterday. The beef was stone cold, gravy Luke warm, vegetables watery and overcooked. Those who ordered the pork got overcooked inedible meat and the chips were terrible. The potatoes served were not roast potatoes and were floury . The rolls were obviously frozen and hard as. Never will we go there fora meal again.

Unfortunately the beef schnitzel parmy was tough and dry and the chicken burger was just edible. We also had a lamb shank that was nice and cooked well. For over $90 for three meals they need to lift their game or drop the price. For such a lovely Club and we were really disappointed.

So we are two families
4 adults 6 kids

The meals came out burnt/overcooked or undercooked all at different times over 1.5hours of waiting.

We ordered two of the same drinks - Peach Spritz - drink special and got two different things
One "garnished" one not, different glasses. Another drink wasn't filled to the top and another order came out wrong.

Three dishes we ordered came back with "we're out of that cause it's Sunday." And had to order something else.

Glasses were taken before drinks were finished with the kids so had to get more glasses for water.

Gave feedback to the staff and was treated like an idiot about some things and shrugged off with others

No apologies. No accountability.

Maybe lovely for club members and regulars but visiting out of town go anywhere else

Oh and there were a million baby flies around the table. Gross

Usually I don't hate rage but staff were rude and not receptive to the feedback.

We went to the Barmera Club for brunch on the balcony yesterday (Saturday) and it was great. The meals were tasty and satisfying with all eggs cooked perfectly. The coffee is wonderful also. Will definitely return.

would love to be able to leave some positive words but unfortunately I can not meals came out very slow and one by one for each person at the table and the kids meal was the last to be served so I had a very unhappy bored child waiting for his food come while everyone else had theirs
Ordered a gluten free option and sadley I still had a flare up kitchen obviously doesn’t have a section for gluten free food prep and storage meaning cross contamination is a likely event won’t be risking eating there again

We have dined at the club on several occasions and I’m afraid the meals were most disappointing When your paying $36 for a rump steak you don’t expect to get frisbee than was thin and tough Also the veg and chips were cold My grandson had a half beef schnitzel that was like a child’s meal The standards of the meals need to be lifted if you expect people to continue supporting the club
