Lovely clean and comfortable motel. The king bed and pillows gave us a great night's sleep. Location is great. Balcony room overlooking pool and lovely view. The motel has been well refurbished. Nice big room.We will definitely stay here again.

Hannah was amazing and very accommodating. The rooms were extremely well presented, modern and clean. The pool beautiful and clean as well. Great location across from the river and close to everything. Had stayed elsewhere in town the night before and had a very very poor experience. But Hannah and the beautiful motel made up for it. Have already booked again for next year. Great work guys. Five stars for sure!

Just completed our travels along the Murray, west to east. Our stay at the BB was 7/2 to 15/2, before moving on. Certainly don’t envy motel managers, except for workers, who are easy going, you don’t know what type of personality is staying short or long term. And nor do the other guests. I guess one can only hope that the guests have common sense, respect for you, the property and other people and leave things at the motel the way they found them, which of course will not always be the case. I think you and others will understand what we are saying.

We stayed in an upstairs room facing the carpark. Our room was spacious, very clean, modern looking, and very quiet...even had a lounge and table and chairs. The whole room, including the bathroom, looks like it has just been renovated...all looks brand new! Great air-conditioner that kept us very cool and a welcome relief from the heat outside. Excellent quality bedding. Vanity basin is situated on the bench just outside the bathroom which actually gave me more bench space to put all my 'bits and pieces'. Good lighting in the area of the basin and a big long mirror made it easy to shave for my husband and for me to apply make-up. |Pool and pool area were well maintained and clean. |Hannah was very obliging in allowing us to stay a bit longer in our room so we didn't have to wear our formal attire for a longer period in the heat.|Easy walking distance to shops and club. Across the street, the walk along the river board walk was very pretty at night.|Certainly stay again if travelling to Barham.

I stayed at the Inn for 3 nights and really enjoyed it. The rooms were very clean, the location was lovely, guests were all respectful and service was great. The local coffee cart across the road was a fantastic bonus! I'd happily stay again

The pic on the internet is of the rear ..the front has a great view from the pool to the river and trees. Rooms are very comfortable. Ours smells like new carpet and looks recently renovated. Bathroom etc are clean and of a good standard. The area is quiet and a short walk to pubs, coffee shop and the club. We would return.

I have never met an Australian Motel operator who has not traveled overseas and yet they persist with this 10.00 am checkout nonsense. It’s meant to be the “hospitality “ industry.
I am confident that based on the way the rooms have been upgraded and the way in which they respond to reviews they would accommodate a later checkout- buy why not just offer it as standard, they can’t clean all the rooms at once .
By Aussie Motel standards this is in other respects excellent, lovely setting , spacious room & bathroom.
Thinking about amending our return trip to allow another night here .

Such a great stop-over halfway between Canberra and Adelaide. So good to find somewhere en route with pet-friendly rooms...and they really are pet-friendly, with a small enclosed patio facing the pool, with fake grass. Dog bed and bowl provided and lovely Hannah had a little packet of dog treats ready for my dog...so thoughtful!
Rooms have recently been renovated and are large and spacious.
Big shout out to Hannah for being so understanding when I had to cancel at very short notice due to delays in leaving Canberra but fortunately we were still able to stay overnight 2 days later.
The pool is lovely, with an inbuilt spa, the location is wonderful, looking across the road at the Murray River and the local pub is just over the road.
Can't wait to stay again!
