Just moved here from out west. Thought that this place would my new local. But how can they justify $10.20 for a schooner of Great Northern Original. Won’t be back.
Next day went to the Golf Club and had a similar full strength beer and it was $3.00 cheaper and sat out on the deck and enjoyed the great view and nice breeze. It’s closer to home too.

What a great pub!
We drove up from Brisbane for a little night away, found this pub for dinner and drink and we were so impressed. As soon as we walked in the staff were so friendly and enthusiastic.
Food was great !
Bar staff were super helpful, especially Hunter, he can make a ripper cocktail?
We will be back.

I come here every Saturday for my delicious lychee mojito and lunch and every time I’m impressed with the amazing service and food. The portions are so big I can never finish them. The calamari dish was delicious and fresh. The staff are always very welcoming, friendly, kind and some with a great sense of humour. I’ve never been disappointed once.
I love it here. So relaxing and love the music and the energy the staff give off. So relaxing.

I go with my licensed service dog where as per the law required of me I show my license each time and her license displayed on her jacket. Failure to show her Guide and Service dog license and her Guide and service dog patch on her jacket or display her license on her jacket I know I can be refused. After staff verify my license they allow me in. I have absolutely no issues in having to show my license each time. I know the staff have to check as also is the law required of them to check and refuse me if I cannot show her license. I have zero issues being asked. They’re always respectful and friendly.

Small price to pay for an amazing relaxing afternoon with great food and great cocktails.

So all in all, every Saturday I come here with my service dog for my drinks and food and I’m never disappointed.

Absolutely love this place.

Just moved to Bargara and went here for lunch , let’s just say we should’ve stayed home and had a vegimite sandwich! ,
Gravy is $4.40 and is watery and absolutely horrible . So a kids meal that was just over $10 was over $14 with the gravy that could be eaten .
I ordered barramundi , only comes with chips , salad is extra !!!! Of course .
It was soggy , no flavour and just slapped on top of the chips making them super soggy . My partner got the chicken burger . Bun was burnt to the shit house . The drinks prices were absolutely insane. Do yourself a favour and go to the Bargara golf club . Way nicer and cheaper

Nice and relaxing atmosphere with drinks then a meal. Absolutely enjoyed! Friendly staff and service. On holidays as just a short walk and view of the beach. Eaten there twice as the meals were surprisingly delicious. Thank you ?

Do not go here with your family unless you are happy to pay through the nose.
A steak does not come with any accompaniments but still costs up to $50. Salad, chips etc must be ordered separately and add more than $5 per selection. The servings are small and miserly.
The fish menu is better with a traditionally all inclusive meal.
This used to be a great place but obviously management or the owner decided visitors are just cash cows.

Response to the Owner:
Considering I was there only two weeks ago, I stand by my review. The inclusion you talk about are very small and don't feed an adult. The meal needs extra sides and they are small. There is NO doubt that you have changed and reduced your meal sizes since a year or two back. I don't doubt that it makes economic sense for you but doesn't satisfy customers.

Sensational hotel!! I’m visiting from Victoria and booked in for the Melbourne cup celebrations… My friend and I sat out the front and were waited on hand and foot by the wonderfully friendly staff eating our 5 course meal!! ? Couldn’t recommend more highly!

Nice looking pub with ice cold beer & friendly bar staff. Regular pub menu but with very high prices and unusually small servings for a pub.
Not a bad spot for a drink but there a far better pubs in the region for a good size, fresh & tasty meal at more affordable prices.
