Spending time at this lovely beach cottage was relaxing and enjoyable. Just one block back from the beach, and a short 20 minute walk to the Jetty or into the town centre. We loved it was dog friendly with a doggie door to the fenced backyard. A great stay in a quiet location so close to the beach. Loved it.

Great beach cottage vibe. The cleanliness and equipment levels were spot on. Fantastic for pets with enclosed gardens and lots of established trees, with a dog beach less than 5 minutes walk away. Will definitely stay again.

This very ‘down south’ beach house was lovely for a family holiday and catered for adults, kids and our two dogs. We stayed for 5 nights.

Overall the accommodation was great. The location, secure yard, farmhouse/beach decor, comfortable beds and fireplace were all winners. The kitchen was very well equipped and made cooking and food prep easy. Loved the original walk in larder. The kids bedroom in particular was so sweet, with books and toys for them to play with as well as bunk beds which they loved. We walked our dogs on the beach everyday (literally around the corner) and had BBQs most nights.

This has been mentioned before; but the bathroom fan doesn’t work and there isn't a shower rod and curtain. The beautiful original floorboards are getting damaged and smell as you really can’t help but get them wet from the shower which is a real shame - the old features of the house are my favourite and I hate to see the original boards ruined.

I’ve seen some complaints here about the cleanliness. No, it’s not spotless - It’s a rustic beach house that’s very kid and dog friendly, it’s not a 5 star hotel. We didn’t have a problem with it at all and it felt really comfy just like home. It’s not dirty, just lived in.

We would definitely book again. Thankyou!

Lovely place, the fireplace was gorgeous and old school decor fit the scene perfectly. Kitchen well equipped... Although no fan in the bathroom and a step in bath with no shower screen... Floor was drenched and bathroom super steamy without ventilation. Overall Lovely.
