It's good value for food especially if you like to have a variety in your meals. I believe they have a generous selection of different things and neatly spaced out.

The service is quick and friendly, they take your plates quite soon after you're done with them and it's generally clean with nothing I can complain about. Thanks for the food Star!

Not happy with the Customer service. Food is usual as the other buffets. I prefer dinner over lunch. They take longer to refill foods during lunch time. Dinner is more better as u pay more.

Located in Bankstown RSL Club, 1 Meredith Street, Bankstown, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺. This was an ok buffet but I have had better. I was expecting prawns but there was none, saying that, I have seen other reviews that showed prawns 🍤. Not sure why there wasn’t any when we went. The food was nice but , again I have had better, saying that it definitely wasn’t the worst I ever had either. I mainly ate at the Asian cuisine section because that is my favourite. I did like the chocolate fountain, spent a little time there 😂. I like that you can buy one glass and refill it with some drinks 🥤 however much you want. Well worth it. I gave a low score on service because I really had very low interaction with the staff and the times I did speak to them, they weren’t that helpful and I don’t think they knew how to smile 😊. The location was clean and visually appealing. I would rate this buffet as average

The roast beef was very dry and really couldn't be swallowed. Have to be very careful with old Asian people, I really find them very rude and rude in grabbing food. It's like they are deeply afraid that they won't have anything to eat, and then I see them wasting food. The toilets are super clean and the waiters in the restaurant are very nice. The food is very fresh.

The star buffet is a famous buffet chain across NSW and it's very good value for what you get. This Bankstown one has lots of Asian options and you could have lots of dumplings. There is also a sushi train and that's what I started with. I mostly ate the Asian options and enjoyed everything I chose. There was no prawns or a seafood section which I was disappointed by. Also having $4.50 for soft drink was a bit too much I thought. There is cold water and tea/coffee available. The coffee machine was very messy and it was weak coffee. The deserts were okay but a lot of them had a low quality taste to them, especially the chocolate ones. I went for an early lunch on a Monday and it was fairly busy but no waits to get food. The seating is very comfortable and the general dining area is nice. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Basically, if you like Asian food and don't have too high expectations for high quality food then this is the buffet for you. It is good value for money.

We had a very great experience in Star Buffet in Canberra, therefore we wanted to give a try at Bankstown branch. The price was fantastic for buffet even on the weekends. The place and the location was awesome too. However, we noticed that the amount of food was not variable as Canberra branch. The atmosphere was too crowded, some customers were even stand next to the sushi bar for a while so the others could not access to it. Anyway, food tasted good in general.
It was also required to join a membership with them if you are not local. This is their policy so I would not complain. Just a heads up.
Overall, I fairly enjoyed the experience of dining with this branch.

Nothing outstanding and the food is passable. Service wasn't friendly but the place was nice and clean. This was dinner on weekday $36.8 for non member.
