My son went to Banksia Park
Primary from Reception to grade 6 and I am so happy with everything in this school. Most importantly, the staff members were so committed and dedicated. My son loved going to this school until the very end and there was a very friendly and welcoming environment in the school. He progressed through the years and was always encouraged and motivated to learn. Thank you very much for every single staff member at Banksia Park Primary School for helping and supporting their best for students to succeed.

There are a few things that damage our children that aren’t supposed, The Department of Education and the Teachers therein. My youngest has been out of primary for three years now but the damage was done. She was taught she has rights and no responsibility. Her head master and teachers sexual orientation should not have affected her learning but it did. The language she uses is clearly from an entitled POV. i am disappointed that Inclusion and Diversity were used as weapons against her family. What did i do about it i went to the school we spoke about and they were proud to be involving Gay teachers and harmful ideology to minors. The Department of Eduction is will fully ignoring parents and forcing ideas like “Gender is a social construct”. Clearly those of us in the workforce know that this isn’t true.
Of the disappointments from this school is that there is no holding students back that aren’t getting it or making the grade. My youngest managed to get to high school and can barely write and mental arithmetic is out of the question. Im not a teacher thats why we send our children to school. I understand that just because someone has a Degree doesn’t mean they know how to use it. But allowing them to damage our kids is not on. Stop patting yourselves on the back for a half arse job. You have an important job think about that before you ask for a pay rise. Young minds need direction not misdirection.

I asked my eldest daughter that left 6 years ago, while doing dishes together, “do you think there was an anti male thread at primary school”. Her answer, hell yeah, and most of my mental health problem came from there.

Knowing what I know now. At least ponder the idea that you could do a better job yourself. Once apron a time teachers and doctors were revered members of the community. Now we know that not to be true.

I hurts me that we trusted the school to teach our kids and they managed to do more damage than good.

We have had 3 Children here now and have not had any problems. There is also a new principle (Renee) in the past year and she has been very receptive so far with our youngest who has extra requirements. Facilities are good and a great link in with Banksia Kindy (which was amazing) and the high school. From our experience I can definitely recommend.

Absolutely brilliant school, run by a very motivated and inspirational principal (Jason Sheehy). I honestly can't say enough good things about this school. Great learning programs and a fantastic gardening/cooking program. Well equipped with IT resources. No kids get left behind at this school. Very happy!!
