the bst school i have ever attended in my life,
the techers are amazing, canteen is cheap and they offer mnay differnt variety of classes and subjects to choose from
totally recomend going there.
there is 0 bullying and everyone is kind and supportive

my final review at the school, i will say i did get pulled aside for a previous review and the school talked to me which was nice. Firstly the school has removed the 15 minute window that allows for kids to be late and the reason... because students were late. recently they have banned charging at school which is really inconvenient for students that do not have the best laptop and need their laptop to be on charge the only solution to this is locking it in a box and walking away meaning you cannot do work if your laptop goes flat and i wish we could know a reason but instead im am going to hope that someone talks to me through this review like last time or if i can find out who to talk to it's not like theres much advertisement on student voice here.
overall the school is fine if you just want to get your ATAR and it has a pretty good subject selection it's just you will struggle if you don't have friends

Bullying is out of control. Staff have lost control and it's easier to ignore the problem, remove the victim and let the bullies move on to the next person. My son was severely bullied to the point the school called the Police!!! Still did nothing to help. My son has been out of school for 3 months with no help, no contact and just given an exemption from attendance. A friend's daughter is currently being bullied at the same school and self harming. Avoid this school!!!!

Amazing school with brilliant staff! The opportunities and subjects provided by this school are honestly amazing. Personally haven't been involved with bullying; and since the school has been actively increasing bullying awareness and promoting a sense of community through differing methods I believe that no other student or staff will either. If I could recommend any school within the Tea Tree Gully and Golden Grove areas for parents to send their children to highschool, this would be the best pick.

This school provides great opportunities for students to learn and grow with the world around them. I love how many clubs they have, there is an art club, Japanese club (my favourite), robotics club, and so many more! Banksia Park International High School has an amazing exchange program with a sister school in japan. I never experienced or witnessed much bullying in all my years as a student here. I definitely recommend this high school!

It's ok if your child is an academic but not if they have different learning styles or if you are on a school card. Mainly concentrate on international students or highly academic students. Unfortunately only a handful of teachers care & support student wellbeing. Teachers do not try to build positive relationships or use engaging teaching styles. Meetings with leadership team pointless as there is no flexibility in learning plans, has to be done their way & don't listen to student's needs. My son got anxious asking for clarification because of the belittling & condescending tones. Why do they bother going to all the professional development wellbeing training days if they are not going to utilize it. The teachers that do make a difference don't seem to stay there long & are snapped up elsewhere.

My children went to this high school and now my grand daughter goes there. An idea lic setting for a school. I don't know a lot about the classes now , but since my grand daughter has been going there she has come out of her shell and is maturing in leaps and bounds. She is learning new educational programs very well which suggests that the teachers are doing a great job.....

After 1 year getting to know the school and staff, we're really happy with the education, support and opportunities they offer our child. Staff are generally long term, high quality and committed, the location is fantastic, facilities are good and the staff/GC have worked hard to secure funding for numerous improvements, any issues have been responded to honestly and appropriately, perfect size school, and our child is achieving great things. Recommend BPIHS to anyone looking for secondary schooling in this area.
