What is not to love about a great country town bakery! Good feel inside, nice range of food, and friendly service. Loved the custard bunny thing...wish I knew it's proper name ...firm pastry and lovely tasting overall. Worth visiting often!

We stopped for lunch passing through. Service was good. Ordered egg and lettuce and ham salad rolls. There was some weird sweet taste to both and live small insect in the sala roll. Also ordered coconut slice and lemon tart both very disappointing.

Nice store with loads to choose from, cakes, pies, pasties, sausage rolls and fresh sandwiches as well. Would definitely go back there if I was in Balranald. Had a good lunch specials when I was there $10 for six party pies and six party sausage rolls. Should have had that, but got a chili pie instead. Good pie though

Nice selection of pies, great flavour. Vanilla Slices were delicious, really good and the carrot cake was very traditional and easy to eat. Service was great, busy shop. Recommended

Dropped in for a quick morning tea of cake and cappuccino. The apple and custard pastry was delish! and the coffee hit the spot... Great service too.

Welcoming, friendly, excellent service.
Meat pie, excellent, just right balance of filling and pastry.
Vanilla slice was also excellent. Just right, delicious.
And the sandwiches made with their own bread were also excellent-plenty of filling, just delicious.
Worth going out of your way to this bakery.
I don't drink coffee, so can't comment on that.

Quick to serve you once paid they just turn there back no thank you or have a nice day very rude and we went in twice served by 2 different ladies and the same no service we dined in on outside tables with our paper bags

Everything you could want from a small town bakery! A great selection of pastries (the custard tart comes highly recommended) as well as a sandwich bar with a great range of toppings and condiments. This is the kind of place where they pile on the trimmings and don’t skimp on anything. Although not exceptional, the bakery also offers some of the best coffee in Balranald and has great service. Well worth a stop if you’re passing through, or add it as a daily fixture if you’re staying in town.
