Great place for seclusion. Weather was beautiful for may. 26c during the day. No water in the river unfortunately. Later in the year would be better. Amazing skies at night.

So many birds!!!! Cockatiel, Budgerigars, Galahs, Eagles, Pardalotes, Noisy Miners, Pigeons, Finches, Swallows and heaps more. Lots of room along the north and south sides of the river for camping. No facilities at all. Track in is dirt and could be a bit slippery if wet. We spent four lovely days watching the birds feed their young and also watched a very bold goanna climb a tree right in front of our van to steal 3 baby cockatiels out of their tree hollow. A very relaxing spot!

Track to camping sites south of Bridge washed out. Historic Bridge completely gone replaced by ugly concrete and steel.No character at all!.Visited by stock in the night😀.Beautiful bird song in the mornings,plenty of flies.lol.

Although a very peaceful quiet isolated spot, late October and very little water in the river. Unfortunately, we had unseasonable temperatures around 41 and then second night there, we had unwelcome visitors spotlighting our camp site driving past a few times slowly. We decided it was time to pack up. Could have been nothing but not worth the risk.
