Our family of 4 stayed at Bakery Hill apartments a couple weeks back and had an absolutely lovely stay. The apartment is clean, modern and very spacious which gave our 2 rambunctious boys plenty of space to run around and play with their toys. The bathroom is huge and the jacuzzi was a hit for everyone. Heaps of eateries and restaurants are located directly across the road, supermarkets are a short 5-minute walk away and the centre of town a leisurely 10-minute stroll. All in all, the perfect location to base yourself and family for a weekend getaway to Ballarat.

We stayed at Bakery Hill for a few nights whilst in Ballarat for the Victorian Teachers Games. We occupied both apartments, and couldn't have been happier with our stay. The apartments were both clean, well set up and had wonderfully comfortable beds. It seems that after reading a few of the reviews, the owners listened to what people have had to say - as there were new bathrooms, a larger coffee maker and tea in the cupboard!! (I would agree however, that a box of tissues would not have gone astray!). We had an awesome stay, and can't wait to come back.

Only a few minutes walk into town the apartments were spacious and lovely comfy beds we were in a 2 bedroom apartment but one of the bedrooms did not have a outside window just glass along the top of one wall which felt a bit claustrophobic. The kitchen and bathroom were clean and modern but no lock on the bathroom door and no hook for your clothes while having a shower or bath. The bedrooms had a wardrobe but no shelves or chair and only 2 very small draws, the main thing missing was MIRRORS the only room with a mirror was the bathroom so 4 adults found it very difficult to get ready on a morning drying hair, shaving, putting makeup on and generally getting ready for the day.

Our family of 5 stayed here for 2 nights recently while visiting Sovereign Hill. Quick review of the apartment (Apartment 2) that we stayed in:||||Pros||- beautiful presented apartment||- modern, plenty of space with all necessary amenities (linens, towels, cooking utensils)||- great location within Ballarat, close to 2 big supermarkets and several restaurants||||Some areas which can be improved||- apartment was slightly grimy and didn't feel that clean||- same for the utensils; perhaps the cleaning staff didn't really do a good job||- water temperature and pressure in the shower was a little inconsistent||- apartment had central heating but it didn't reach the bathroom, which meant the bathroom was freezing cold||||Overall, still a very good place to stay if you're visiting Ballarat, but hopefully the owners can improve on those little details I mentioned.

Visiting for 3 nights. Bakery hill was very well located. Check in easy as keys were in a lock box. The place was clean and beds super comfy. Large laundry and bathroom. The bathroom didn't have any heating, maybe looks like this is to be attended to. The place felt very spacious. |Good supply of tea, and coffee pods which were appreciated. Would have liked a teapot. Definitely recommend.

A group of us traveled to Ballarat for the weekend and stayed in both apartments. They were super beat, modern and had everything you needed. The hosts were great and made sure it was an easy place to stay at. Definitely be back again for next year's trip

100% would stay again. Apartment was amazing, and perfectly situated in town. Couldnt imagine staying anywhere else for my next travel to ballarat. From staying there for 2 nights i give a solid 5 stars!

Great, clean space for our family of 5 to hide from the heat. Great location. Close walk to good places to eat. Easy access to sovereign hill and easy walk into town. Was easy to organise and access and off street parking. Couldn’t as for anything more.
