Paid for a Sourdough Vienna loaf yet when it was opened at home I realised the cheaper Pane di Casa loaf had been given instead. Very, very different in texture (refer photo) and taste.

Hopefully a one-off however I’ve grown more and more disappointed with this Bakers Delight as the size of items has grown smaller and the toppings have become skimpier…so there remains a chance it was an intentional swap given it’s a much cheaper loaf that has been supplied - and I had it delivered so there was no chance I could have corrected the issue at the time of purchase.

There’s also a serious issue with the settings they use on the slicer at Norwest as sandwich style cuts the bread to an unusable thin width (almost half the size of any other supermarket or bakery) and the toast setting is also extremely thin - needs to be adjusted.

I have really bad experience with this store.
I ordered and paid for 2 wholemeal pizza bases for pick up Sunday night or Monday morning.
I went to pick up the order today, they said they disposed it as I haven’t picked up on Monday.
I haven’t received any call or message to say that the bread will be thrown nor they advised me that they can keep for 2 days only.
When I asked them about it, they have no answer. There is no
Courtesy for the customer.
I paid for something apparently to go into the bin. What a waste of money. They should have kept my bread as I paid for it.

Below is the review i gave you 3weeks ago. Since then there has been a decline in your hot cross buns. Youll have decreased the fruits drastically. Yet your hot cross buns are quite expensive.

Your traditional Hot Cross Buns were simply the best. Lots of fruit and fully baked, WELL DONE GUYS KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. Tried a few bakers delights but you guys do a great job.

Picked up some delicious bakery items in the morning for a company event. Everything was fresh, the service was great and even got to taste some specials due to the large order.

They always do great bread, and especially the multi-pack of cheesymite scrolls. The servers are always friendly and quick. It's my preferred BD.

Only gave one star as had to rate to allow a review. Otherwise, it should be a zero.
Have noticed over last couple of months how bread rolls, scones, tea cakes etc are now smaller in size. Some very markedly smaller. The bread is sliced so thin it falls apart when getting it out of the bag. And it supposed to be cut thick, hate to see thin cut. Also, they put warm loaves in plastic bags. By the time you get to the car the bread is wet and sweaty and has turned to dough again.

However, upon buying scones today, I see a small child walking and playing and sitting on the preparation surface at rear of shop. All this while three or four bakers are working. Not inviting to know a small child is squatting and walking around on your preparation benches amongst the flour etc where food is prepared. And by the age of the child, I'd say she/he may be in a nappy.
Never again will I visit your store.

We have got the Almond & Custard scrolls from here many times, but never again, they are just Almond, there is no custard , to be fair most other BD are the same except the one up the coast.
So if you want a dry scroll with just a bit of icing on it, go right ahead, but never again for me

Come here regularly for savoury treats and they never disappoint. The staff here are generally pleasant to deal with and you can tell the bakers have a true passion for what they do, consistent food, hard to fault!
