We come in for dinner I ordered a scotch but I received a porterhouse which is only meant to come with the mixed grill it’s not even an option to order but I think the arrogant chef would have though we wouldn’t notice even though there is a pretty big difference not only was it the wrong steak but it was cooked as well done when it was ordered as medium. Another person that joined us for dinner also ordered the scotch his was double the size of mine and he ordered it as medium yet he received it blue he couldn’t even eat it. I write this with full confidence knowing what I’m saying is true as we also had fully qualified chefs at dinner with us. We were going to bring this to the staffs attention at the time but at this point we just wanted to get out of there.

Ordered a schnitzel with two gravy’s and a creamy garlic sauce. Got the gravy’s, but they forgot the garlic sauce. Told the waiter we just needed the sauce, he said okay and never came back. Wasted money.

Don't go there for meals. Went there last night, salmon portion was very small and a little dry. Salad looked like something the cat regurgitated. First two meals came out quickly but mixed grill took over half an hour and then was not enjoyable. No apology from waiter but said mixed grills take a long time then also tried to pass off the half hour gap in meals arriving as they were ordered at differet times. They were literally ordered less than a minute apart. Credit to manager for the apology and offer of a drink but we won't be back for meals

Had dinner here last night Monday 22nd of April. Used to come here for dinner and loved it. But not now. We ordered chicken salad( Very burnt chicken schnitzel was the chicken used) Salad had a lot of cabbage in it. Other meal was a mixed grill with the meat showing signs of blood that meal was hardly eaten. Very disappointed to say the least didn’t want to complain because the staff were very young. It cost quite a bit of money for what we ordered. We got Charged extra for gravy, which horrified us. All in all won’t be back it’s just not worth such big money for low-grade food. The garlic bread was okay though. ☹️

We had lunch here for Father’s Day (albeit a day early).

Starting in the sports bar whilst waiting the service was great with the selection of drinks offered being reasonable.

The lads on the bar were really friendly and attentive to us and the other patrons. We were led to our table in the clean and spacious bistro.

We ordered the special Sri Lankan curry, the specials Kiev, the pumpkin soup and the fettuccine carbonara. Meals were typical pub food without any frills. My Kiev was tasty but the combination of rice with garlic sauce on top was a little too much.

The fettuccine was a little bit of a miss as with the Sri Lankan curry but the kilpatrick oysters were fresh and tasty (although with bbq sauce and not Worcestershire).

Overall the place is comfortable, the staff are really friendly and attentive, the restaurant/bistro is clean and comfortable, and the food is good pub food.

Don’t come here! I got Carbonara it was horrible, might as well have asked for scrambled eggs and pasta. My sister got Kids bolognese with a black hair. We got a Mexican Parma. It wasn’t spicy,didn’t say it had corn chips on them what if someone was allergic?
Overall horrible experience don’t come here.
