Our daughter graduated from ANU this week, and after years of hearing her stories about the fun times at Badger, we figured it was only right to experience it for ourselves—purely for research purposes, of course!

Straight after the ceremony, we headed in for a celebratory drink and some nibbles. I can absolutely see why university students love this place—great atmosphere, fun decor, and the kind of energy that perfectly matches student life (and their new-found freedoms!).

As for us “old parents,” the staff were incredibly accommodating, graciously humoring our slightly bewildered attempts to keep up. They handled all our silly requests with a smile, making sure we were well looked after.

If you’re a student, a graduate, or just a parent trying to relive your youth for an hour or two, Badger is definitely worth a visit. Here’s hoping future ANU students (and their parents) enjoy it as much as we did!

Badger & Co are a good and lively pub inside the ANU campus but attracts a lot of people from outside the university mainly for their good value for money good and drinks. It's also got a great atmosphere and is often busy. The tacos, chicken parmi and steak were all received well and tasted good. Definitely worth trying this place for casual lunch and dinner. Badger & Co sports a great relaxed atmosphere with music in the middle of Kambri, the social heart of the Australian National University.

There are Good meals, including some specials, friendly service and good drinks options. The Specials board changes frequently.

Plenty of seating inside and out.
There is live music at times.

Parking is available in Kambri's underground carpark as well as on surface across the creek.

It's a student pub. Not bad option but they changed the keg mid-pour on my beer so the taste was off. Better option is pour away that 150 ml of keg 1 in my glass and start with a fresh pour of keg 2. Better customer experience (assuming that is important still?).

I ordered fish and chips. The chips were plenty for me although i found the fish portion to be underwhelming. The tartar sauce had a strong peculiar taste to it.

Plenty of seating with some dark areas in case you are sleepy or have a hangover. Food is of good quality but like all Airport venues are on the pricey side. Staff are friendly.

Does what it says on the tin. Nice campus pub. Decent meals, good beer and reasonable prices. Service was lovely as well. The usual suspects on the menu, including some vegetarian options.
