I originally booked an East Coast trip with her 9 years ago, which was an unforgettable adventure. Over the past few years, I’ve also booked several smaller trips with her across Australia and New Zealand, and each experience has been nothing short of perfect. So, when I decided to plan another big trip, Rachel was the first person I contacted.

She tailored the entire trip perfectly to suit my interests, making sure that every stop along the coast was exactly what I was looking for. From must-see attractions to hidden gems, Rachel provided amazing recommendations for places to eat, drink, and explore, ensuring that I made the most of every moment. Fantastic customer service and the lowest price of any company I could find. For reference, I did the 3-week, self-guided, east coast tour (Sydney-Cairns). Rachel was very helpful before and during the tour, and I really couldn’t have expected any more from her. For example, before I even got to Agnes Water, she had already informed me and accommodated for the extortionate cost of the transfer from bus stop to hostel. This made what would have been a very sour tasting scenario into a breeze. She also offered advice about bank accounts and SIM cards, before I flew, again making my life easier.

My only criticism is I’m not sure the split, in terms of how many days you spend in each place, is quite right. Having done it now, I’d have done one less day in Rainbow Beach and Agnes Water and one more on Magnetic Island and Airlie Beach. You could also potentially do the K’gari tour from Noosa instead of Rainbow, but this all come down to personal preference. Definitely a price worth paying to have everything sorted beforehand, by a company who know what they are doing, and have your back throughout the tour.

I suppose the biggest compliment I can give is everything ran without a hitch. This may seem like a non-negotiable but it’s funny how often this isn’t the case!

Amazing customer service and the best tours!
Having been fortunate enough since arriving to Australia on a WHV, i have done multiple tours using backpacker world travels. From start to finish i have never had any issues and always felt supported in my adventures.
