a fabulous full day fishing with Trent on his drift raft. My Sister and I were so impressed with his knowledge, safety, and the comfort of the drift boat was a real bonus. We saw fish & platypus and loved every minute,. The serenity and tranquility drifting along the Goulburn river was beautiful. Trent was so patient with two novice anglers and put us in all the right places to catch fish. Thanks for a great day

My first fly fishing class with Trent Storer from Back of Beyond Fly Fishing ... was the best fishing trip ever.... all thanks to Trent. I highly recommend this class, specially if you are new to fly fishing as Trent teaches you all that you need to know to start you on a very exciting journey on fly fishing. Trent is very patient and makes you feel so comfortable. He let's you learn at your own pace. I noticed he also ties up your hooks and untangles your knots... of which I had many, just so that you don't waste your time, else I would have been untying knots at least 50% of the time.... I highly recommend taking a class with Trent. I surely will be doing a few more sessions with Trent.

I had been wanting to try fly fishing for a while and finally decided to pull the trigger and get a guide for the day. Couldn't be happier that I went with Trent @ Back of beyond fly fishing. We spent the day on the Howqua River where Trent expertly guided me through everything from the basic cast, to playing and then landing fish. He explained all the gear that we used on the day, why we were using it and also gave me plenty of advice on what I should look for when buying my own gear. This was an experience I will remember for a long time and will also be the day that I became obsessed with fly fishing! My Son and I had an amazing adventure on the Jamieson River this year with Trent. Back of beyond certainly sums it up, Trent's local knowledge taking us to a place we never would have got to on our own, and his experience meant we caught a lot more fish than we would have - this carried through the entire trip.

However what impressed me the most was his patience and way with teaching my son. He had my ten year roll casting a dry with dropper in no time and casting far better than ever before.

Trent is a great guide who helped my 9 year old son develop his skills with the rod and has been an excellent teacher for him.
I highly recommend Trent if you are at any level of fly fishing, he is highly knowledgeable about the rivers he fishes and is a calm and considerate man who can teach and develop the art of fly fishing without making it feel difficult at all.
Trent worked incredibly hard to develop both of our skills in some interesting conditions.
