Today we had a great experience with the Australian Wine Tour Company. It is just an hour away from Melbourne but so worth it! The tour guide (Brian) was so accommodating to everyone and brought us to those amazing vineyards. Also the food at the second stop was really tasty

Did the tour - Melbourne: Full-Day Yarra Valley Wine Experience with Lunch -
Was a lovely wine tour, the wineries had some great views (perfect for any photos). Each stop had 5+ wines to try. You have X2 stop before lunch and although lovely food the lunch wasn't very filling so I'd suggest a big breakfast or snacks with you to ensure you don't get too drunk 🙂

Decent experience:
Pros: don’t have to drive, don’t have to research which wineries, the wineries chosen had decent wine, the driver is pretty silly.
Cons: you must sit with the group (not romantic), you cannot order food besides lunch (got a bit peckish at the last winery but were told by the winery we couldn’t order snack plate)
Recommendations: bring your own snacks

Excellent tour hosted by Kurt who really knew what he was talking about. The vineyards we visited were welcoming and informative, lunch amazing. Group was just the right size. Totally recommend.

Great day touring Yarra Valley! Our guide, Keith, was very knowledgeable and provided lots of background on the history of the region and some science behind wine-making, which I enjoyed learning about. All the wineries we visited were beautiful and provided ample tastings (we probably had more than a bottle of wine each over the course of the day). Lunch was also delicious. Good value tour and would highly recommend!

John was our tour guide on Dec 19 2019 and he was the best, he is an encyclopaedia of Wines and is personable and takes care of you! We have been to many wine tours and this is the best so far, hands down! Excellent lunch with so many wine tastings, you are bound to be a tipsy if you end up tasting all the wines ( I had few extras as well)! Definitely would recommend them over any other in Melbourne!
