Little things Matter

I would like to kindly ask that any staff residing on Nepean Avenue park in front of their own homes rather than in front of other residents' houses. Additionally, I encourage using the depot parking or paid parking options instead of occupying the neighbourhood streets filled with your vehicles parked in front of every other houses. This will help prevent inconvenience to the residents in the area

We had the most amazing time in Mudgee with Australian Luxury Escapes.

The brief we gave the team was for two nights away, good vineyards, a country experience with fantastic food. The team were great to deal with in the lead up and over delivered on the entire experience.

This company has persistently utilized River Top Close, Nepean Avenue, and Osborne Road streets within our residential neighborhood without consideration for others. Their parking practices often result in vehicles being parked too close to residences, causing inconvenience and potential safety hazards for residents. Additionally, the company has been using the street as a depot parking area, further disregarding the needs and concerns of neighbors and those residing on the street.

Completely enjoyed our private tour today with Matt as our guide. Very knowledgeable about each location, good viewing stops, history, folk lore, restaurants and takes good pictures too! Highly recommend essentials day tour and ask for Matt as your guide!!

Just returned from a luxury escapes tour of Spain Portugal and Morocco

Extremely disappointed as was every single person in my group

For most of the tour we were with a guide who had very poor English so we weren’t informed of much. There were mix ups with times and meeting points as a result. Not a guided tour at all. Spent hours driving through Spain and Portugal with no commentary that could be understood.

Most hotels were not luxury and in fact we were told at many hotels that our rooms were standard( I had paid a supplement for superior accommodation).

Many hotels we had to carry our bags up and down stairs. Continual issues with air conditioning, keys, not even water in some hotel rooms( had to buy), rooms overlooking car parks and service areas . This tour obviously given the lowest quality rooms. Stayed privately in one hotel before the tour started and was told that we needed to change rooms as our tour rooms were a lower category of accommodation. The hotel in costa del sol was full of British and German package deal groups. Drinks served in plastic and awful food. A 25 euro taxi ride to Malaga ( which is a beautiful city) but not on the tour .

No help in the travel package given to us on any nearby attractions or helpful links on anything. Quite often dumped in towns and given an hour to look at the town , eat, shop, etc but with no advice on anything. Given very little advance warning on what time we would arrive anywhere so even our own research was fruitless.

So much time spent on buses. The 5 days in Morroco were actually 3 as the rest was purely travel .don’t even waste your time in Casablanca - it’s a dump. We arrived here at night after spending an entire day travelling and was back on the bus early the next morning. Saw nothing. In Marrakesh was told by our guide not to worry about buying in the markets because Fez had everything.
In Fez much time taken to be bused to ceramics factory, silver workshop and leather showroom to purchase items. No free time to shop anywhere else. I feel that the guide didn’t want us to buy in Marrakech because the tour was taking us to these places in Fez where there was pressure to buy and if you weren’t interested then it was a complete waste of time.

In Spain, instead of relaxing in next hotel instead spent 2 hours in an olive oil place to buy oil. A complete waste of time. It was pure sales.

Our group was split into what they continually referred to as 5 star and 4 star accommodation . In some places this meant that an hour of our day was dropping off of picking up the other group from another hotel and in some places the hotels were quite a distance from each other - a huge waste of time for all of us.

Do not waste your time and money. It is not relaxing, you spend your life on a bus, we had very little guidance and a guide who could not communicate with us. Accommodation for the most part was mediocre really disappointing overall and our entire group felt the same.

On the last night there was a farewell dinner that did not happen due to a mix up in a booking and we were all left standing around in the middle of Madrid to make our own arrangements . One family group in our group ended up having to order room service at their own cost back in the hotel room and didn’t eat until 11pm.

Happy to provide all details of my trip including photos as I’ve noticed that luxury escapes quite often comes back with a response that that don’t have records of bad reviewers on their system . This was another issue as while I paid as an individual , I booked with a friend so had no access to the app and was never sent emails ( only my friend received a password to access the app and the emails ). This also happened with others in our group including a group of four friends where only one email sent to one member of that group.

We took the essential Sydney tour with Matt! It’s a fantastic 5 hours filled with infirmation quirky stories and all around a great way to see the city!! Take this tour!!
