I want to share observations from my previous visits to this post office: 1) I usually use another post office even though this one is close to me. So I am aware of the cost to post an international postcard (I do that very often). I ran out of stamps one day and went to this post office to get some as it's closer to where I live. I was told to buy more expensive stamps, and when I asked I was told that it was the new postage, which I know was not true; 2) I recently returned an item I purchased on ebay. When I received the item, the postage label on the box was about $18 paid by the seller through Australia Post too. I repacked the items using the exact same box and material, and was charged $23 by this post office. Again, I asked why it wasn't $18, and I was told the item exceeded a certain weight and had to go by dimension. On the receipt, the price I paid covers an item that weighs up to 5-6kg, while my item weighs only 1.5kg. If I hadn't had prior knowledge on the postage in both examples, I wouldn't have suspected anything. It is my opinion that this post office is dishonest and everyone should avoid using it.

The Little Asian male postal worker at Wattle Park P.O is very very rude & arrogant. He ALWAYS talks down to me treating me like a young child EVERY TIME I have gone there to use the postal service. He obviously spends too much time alone there staring at the four walls because it is not exactly the busiest postal centre. He needs to understand the meaning of "customer service" and realise his place in society and the workforce. I have also read the reviews about the P.O and am not surprised that other patrons have made similar comment about their similar experiences with the same employee. This person is possibly the Manager there but is still a very very negative representation of Australia Post. I cannot help but share my experiences with other people about this particular P.O.
Hopefully I haven't wasted my time giving you this feedback because when someone takes time to do this you know there must be an issue.

The proprietor has been very helpful to me. I have a tremor so am unable to write legibly and I also have poor vision. He offers to transcribe addresses etc., for me and have me confirm the result whilst providing appropriate explanations. He was very efficient yet also very patient thus making otherwise arduous tasks easy for me.

This has got to be the worst Post Office ever! Rude customer service. Don’t think the man that served me understood the definition of good customer service. Dark and dirty too. I’d rather drive to another post office even if this is the closest to my home. If I could give 0 stars, I would!

i live within a 200m walk. Just like the other lady I find the owner very rude. I always go to the post office more than 1.5km away from his post office, Just to give my postings ..............and avoid the rude man
